Happy (..some what belated) new year everyone.

I know some of you had been hoping for a Christmas update I'd been making some noises about, and I'm genuinely sorry to have not been able to provide it. My time got swamped and I couldn't see a way out of that.

On the plus side I'm back now and once again plugging away at the mobile update. As I'm sure you can imagine it's pretty hefty change, and should make things somewhat faster whilst solving cases (regardless of how you're accessing Noir). Once it's ready there'll be a test site you can all log into instead of Noir whilst the inevitable bugs are straightened out.

...I'll also be resuming regular replies to my mail and board posts. Sorry to anyone I've left hanging.

Thanks for all your hard work, Yeti - and happy new year : ) The Hallowe'en extravangaza was great and I'm guessing it would have been quite a task for anyone to come up with another update so soon afterwards. Hope you managed to have a few days-of-rest over the holiday season.

Thanks Zara. Yeah Halloween and Christmas being so close to one another is a bit of a problem. Would anyone mind if we just moved Halloween to the end of August to create a roughly equal division between Easter-Halloween-Christmas?

I wouldn't mind if we alternated between a Halloween special one year and a christmas event the following year.

Thank you Sindy. :-) I'm looking forward to the mobile update too, particularly for checking my SMail because that's just the exciting kind of life I lead.

That's a good idea BadAss. A nice variation between working on the regular updates and the special event ones.
