Dorian has been hard at work at the Boardwalk setting up some new equipment for pets to use. In exchange for brass rings it'll now be easier to encourage a pet towards the growth that you want. There's also a happiness booster which can come in handy when you've forgotten to love your pet for a few days.
An additional change is in the somewhat stringent requirements for curing a sick pet being significantly reduced to $100,000, or 20 brass rings.
Smaller changes:
- Back-up tickets have proved themselves redundant and have been removed.
- Grown pet stats are now immediately accounted for in a Detective's stats.
- Daily pet notifications and the pet description will make it clear when a pet is sick.

My profile says I still have one. I heard they can be helpful for Nemesis hunts so I got one when I had the chance and didn't care to drop down in favor with the faction I got it from.

Speaking about additional pet rewards, it would be a huge reward for me if I could opt out of getting messages about furore tickets being available.
It's becoming quite a nuisance that, after every case I solve, I get an invitation to participate in a furore; since I'm not really that interested in them (nor the pets), I would love to see an option available in which you can opt out from any invitations.

Mr. Yeti has pointed out to me that, if one goes to their account page and click on options, you have a way to disable them.
Thank you so much for this Yeti :)

Well I visited Dorian and traded rings to increase Archie's charm. Twice. I think it took 50 rings in total. But he just made it to the middle of the see-saw both times. The text said that his charm rating had increased, but when I checked his stats they were the same.
I was surprised as most fully grown pets have a total of 16 pts in stats. Archie has only ever had 14 and he's been fully grown for a while.

And your pet's description says he's fully grown. Very interesting. I also noticed that Keira Ann's pet, although his description says he/she is fully grown, only has 8 points.
Hmm. :/

Sindy- I was on vacation, so poor Athena got sick. After I gave her medicine, she no longer has negative stats but now only the basic stats.

So a pet's stats reset after they fall ill? That takes a lot of stress off of wanting to balance the stats out perfectly.

All stat changes (with the exception of returning to positive stats immediately after healing a pet) happen during the daily turn over. So if your pet does some training with Dorian's equipment if they're going to gain a bonus point (and they might not) it'll only be apparent the next day.
