Greetings, all! For a change of pace, I'm happy to announce a new game called Rabbit Doubt (idea courtesy of Tyranomaster3). This is a game which requires careful strategy (and a bit of luck) to secure victory for your team. The gameplay will be accompanied by narrative portions to increase the immersion of the experience. All of the details can be found at the link below:

https://sites.google.com/site/thevidocqsociety/Home/rabbit-doubt

If you are interested in playing, please post in this thread. I'll leave sign-ups open for 48-ish hours to see how many players we get. Of course, it's always more fun with more people. Then the game will begin! :D

If at any time you have questions regarding gameplay, please PM me and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

As requested, spots have been reserved in advance for miss snopes, Sleuth Sindy, and Sal Iva.

Yes, votes must be cast at least 60 minutes before the end of the day phase. So that would be 19:00 server time. EVERYONE MUST CAST A VOTE. If you're unsure, write "NO VOTE".

You learn when someone has been hanged at the very start of the night phase, much like the death reveal this morning. Those ^ 60 minutes are for me to tally votes and write up the hanging scene, if applicable.

Remember all; vote Sindy!

Um, not the simplest solution, Yeti.

What I see is a TRAITOR who knew that he would be suspected as soon as it was made known that he had survived the night. Therefore, said TRAITOR jumps the gun to be the first one to post and immediately accuse someone to deflect attention from himself. *If* I was a traitor, I most certainly would have offed you first thing. Sorry to be so brutally blunt, but there it is. You know I love you and all, Yeti, but a game is a game.

And the idea that you would have no strategy up your sleeve for tomorrow, whatever the situation, is a little unbelievable to me.

I bet you wanted to kill me on the first night, Sindy. I bet you weighed it up and ultimately decided if there were any doctors then the odds were they would be protecting me on the first night. So you killed poor innocent Zara instead, almost certain no one would be looking out for her. If you couldn't get me lynched during the day, then you could safely eliminate me on the second night.

There's what, two and half hours until voting closes?

Right now just one vote can swing this towards either Sindy or I getting hanged. What a power trip!

I've spent most of the day trying to sort things out. My first reaction when Yeti said he followed Sindy and she was the traitor was, no way! What are the odds that the tracker would pick the traitor to follow first round. My second thought was, damn the game is over before it begins.
But I do know that Yeti is an expert liar and has lied successfully in the Resistance game.
I find his logic breakdown solid.
On the other hand I'm not very satisfied with Sindy's account of things. She seems very reactionary, like a person with a guilty conscience.
My biggest problem is I hate to just follow someone blindly. And I certainly don't want to be responsible for an innocent being killed. I learned in the Resistance game to tread carefully. For most of the game I believed Bela to be a spy and Ty to be resistance. It wasn't until the 4th round that I was able to see Ty as the spy and Bela as Resistance.
So before I can vote to hang Sindy I need to be 100% sure. I've reread the rules probably ten times and I think I have found a problem with Yeti's reasoning. He said...."Therefore one of us is lying, and almost certainly one of us is the traitor (with that in mind you all trust each other now, as there's only one traitor). " How is he sure there's ONLY ONE traitor. The rules say that 4-9 players there will be only one traitor. But further down in the paragraph there is a caveat,
Games utilizing abilities will have a higher number of traitors.**
So either Yeti missed this piece of information, or he withheld it from us on purpose. I'm inclined to believe he just missed this information. But I can't bring myself to vote to hang Sindy on his word alone. He could be a traitor and have a partner or two. And I really can't vote to hang him, since it seems likely he is the tracker and telling the truth.
I'm sorry Yeti, I just need more proof of Sindy's guilt.
My vote is a NO VOTE.

I am still struggling with Zara's death. And all this finger pointing is giving me a headache; I am just gonna get some rest. Hopefully tomorrow I will make sense of all my findings.

*Notes that there is history I know nothing about between Yeti and Shell Maple. Could they be conspiring together, to subtly bring Sleuth Cindy down?*

Turn coats, that's all I am able to see where there used to be sheep going over the fence as I close my eyes trying to sleep.

The other hole in Yeti's logic is - he says "If she's innocent you can hang me tomorrow." The allegiance of a killed player is not revealed.

Nice try, Yeti.
