I was going to do this privately, but I realized there were too many people I wanted to thank to do it individually.

One year ago today I was told I have MS. Through it all you guys have been awesome. I was in the middle of a Resistance game and when I considered dropping out, everyone encouraged me to stay. Soon after that we had the Sleuth Olympics. Again, I considered withdrawing as I was concerned I would be a liability for my team. All of my teammates, the organizers, and others again encouraged me.

You have all been stunningly patient with me when I forgot something. Encouraging when I was terrified of losing my vision. Understanding when I needed to rest. Firm when I refused to, lol. But you have all helped me hold everything together. And I appreciate it so much.

A friend told me not to think of it as a year of MS, but focus on the fact that I survived a year of MS. I know there are people dealing with much worse illnesses and I'm not saying this is the worst thing that could happen. It's not. But it's still awful. And you guys have made it suck a bit less.

Looking at the positive things, I realized that I have truly been blessed to be part of this community. I had just returned from a very long hiatus, but you all welcomed me back and made it feel as if it had only been a day or so. You rallied around me when I needed it the most. And I will forever be grateful for that.

Thank you.

Thank you both. :)

I'm currently in remission and don't seem to be progressing at all (as in the MS isn't progressing). So that's great. I'm due for another MRI but kind of dreading it. I'd rather just continue with my injections and go on.

I love this community for being so supportive and encouraging.
