Hello everyone. I’ll be hosting another game of Resistance, and I encourage all lurkers from the previous game(s) to come out and play! We’ll keep it simple with just gameplay and no story this time. And if you’ve never played before, feel free to jump right in, because we all need more imaginary problems to worry about. :)

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

Here's my earlier post on my thoughts about Sal (before I became fixated on Bela)

Here's are the pros and cons in my mind regarding Sal:

1. He skipped over Ty who I now know is a spy.
2. However, he skipped over Ty to put me and AspenK (another spy on his team)? Why would he skip over Ty to avoid a spy and then put another spy on his team? It would look a little *too* suspicious if he skipped over too many people?
3. He has (to me at least) acted somewhat out of character throughout this game, but I have only played one other Resistance game with him.
4. In the Resistance game I played with him he was Resistance and as Resistance he skipped over players to include players further down the list because as he said lots of times the players at the bottom of the list don't really get to be involved in game play (if it's a large game). My point being it's not out of character for him as a Resistance player to skip over other players.
5. Sal was all to willing to vote "no" on his own team to pass leadership down to Ty.

Unfortunately, I have nothing on Missy except that, like Zara, she almost always voted "yes."

Zara is RESISTANCE.

I see the "analysis" of the moment, but contend that I have made no false statements or committed any acts against the resistance, while having had several opportunities to do so. Yet others are given a pass on as little as one presence in the game.. I can see several combinations that would explain whatever one wishes them to explain.

Just how have I "acted out of character" Sindy, dear? Do you have a concrete example?

Furthermore, I skipped over TY for EXACTLY that reason I stated at the beginning. There is no obligation to follow any "batting order" and had I picked the last player listed, first: there is no offense there.

I only know that Aspen and Ty are spies so only one more person can be a spy - that's going to be either you or Missy.

Having read through this entire thread again, I can say I see posts made by Missy that are suspicious as well. At this point my trust in my own powers of deduction is nil, so I hope everyone else has their thinking caps on.

Well it's an either/or situation. Either Sal or mss snopes is a spy. Which means I'll have to vote negative on my own team selection.

And then next team selection will come from miss snopes. If that is rejected then it will be Sal's choice. This is going to be interesting.
