Hello everyone. I’ll be hosting another game of Resistance, and I encourage all lurkers from the previous game(s) to come out and play! We’ll keep it simple with just gameplay and no story this time. And if you’ve never played before, feel free to jump right in, because we all need more imaginary problems to worry about. :)

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

OK sindy, let me answer your question. I just spend time to connect everything and make the whole picture clear. I must admit that I'm really shocked about the scenario I think.

You are the 1st leader of the mission 2 and therefore was assigned 2 power cards. And you had to give a card to somebody. And the fact is you gave it to Sal. You said you believe Sal because the 1st mission was successful. So why didn't you give that card to me or aspen, the people in the 1st mission? Why you did give it to Sal? Is that you wanted to distribute the power among your allegiance? If you and Sal are spies, then it makes sense. And because you need a strong reason to do that (giving the card to Sal), you have to say you believe him and pick him in the team you were going to propose. You hoped that team to be rejected but it was accepted. The when it was accepted, in your anxiety, you leaked a careless action asking Sal to use spotlight on you so he can easily vote sabotage. After recognizing it, you used the power to cancel that team because of having 2 spies on the same team is really dangerous. Does it make sense?

And keep following that trace, what we have is Sal confirmed shell's vote of success. We really lean to shell as a resistance. And therefore, the person who sabotaged the 2nd mission must be between me and Bela. But now, I have to reconsider it. What if shell is a spy? Although it's not so strong, but I began to feel uncomfortable with shell. Thinking about her moves, her action to give the power card to me, her strange proposal of the team she was a leader, I feel very confused. If she is a spy, she must be an expert of that.

And since I think Sal, sindy are spies and shell might be the last one, I will not approve the team Bela proposed. And I still don't have a really clear team for myself, Missy. But I think the team excluding 3 of them should be better.

Just sent the PM. Let's see what will happen:

1) First of all, I AM A RESISTANCE. And I am gonna prove that to you by this mission.

Why would anyone but a spy trying to send a message to another spy post something like this? If a mission succeeds, that does most certainly not prove that every person on that team is resistance. Most importantly, how could anyone but a spy possibly know if a team/Mission is going to succeed or not?

I didn't point this out when Yeti Face tried this gambit because of course at the time I was a spy – as was he.

Nuff said?

As I said, Sindy, it's easy to make any explanation based on a built-in conclusion. I said that just as every people here. Even you also said that you are a resistance and that you are helping the resistance. And if AspenK is a spy (and I am as you said), so how can I know that mission will be successful? Do you see the conflict in your words which you made among several current posts, Sindy?
