Sleuthville's Pet Control has noticed that a particular pet is being neglected. The SPC is preparing to intervene to make sure it receives the attention it is due. ;-)

Aw man, if I knew the price would be lowered soon, I wouldn't have forked over such an exorbitant price. :(

Hopefully Yeti or Dorian will give you a post-purchase rebate?

Thank you, Yeti. $100,000/20 brass rings sounds much more reasonable.

And I'm wildly anticipating that mobile update!

I'm guessing you paid in rings, glasse?

We could have pet boarding if we're planning to be gone for a while. Pet health insurance to help cover the cost (although that won't be as big an issue with the lower price.) Pet sitters on retainer who will come in to feed your pet if you've not done it for over a day. They would have a retainer fee plus a fee for every visit.

Hell, we could even go snooping around in catacombs for all I care looking for medical recipes. If we get enough recipes we could trade them in for a potion or a box of pills or something.

Well then... I guess I'll still keep trying for my Severus P. Snake.

Question though. Snakes start with some toughness and some smarts. When you are raising them, can you up their charm instead? Or is it always tough?

Snakes can absolutely be charming.

I *assumed* that the speed with which your pet developed would be tied to the difficulty level of the cases you play, but I just found out that's not the case. I had to travel to New York City for a Nemesis hunt (need a Larry the Toe case) and have been playing easy level cases to minimize the need to use persuasion skills (because I want Shadow to be as smart as possible). Today, to my surprise (pleasantly so) Shadow received his 5th smart point - in the same amount of time it would have taken if I had been playing AI cases.

Just wanted to pass this info along in the event it would be of help to anyone else.
