Sleuthville's Pet Control has noticed that a particular pet is being neglected. The SPC is preparing to intervene to make sure it receives the attention it is due. ;-)

My pet turned golden today. I know this happens when they have learned all they can for the time being (however long that is) but my pet is only 26 days old and has 6 smarts and 6 charm. The other 'golden' pets I've seen were able to accumulate higher skill ratings before their education was halted - as it were : )

It seems a bit random. Can someone explain the logic behind it all? I've a feeling it will end up being something obvious that I should have seen right away, lol

If other golden pets have more stat points than yours then they're grown.

Okay. So my parrot has stunted growth? Or will it grow again at a later date?

Actually, I've just recalled that ZykhelJr's cat turned golden when it was still a kitten but is now full-grown. So that answers my question.

Juno will grow when she grows. :-)

Sadly yes. The grown-up parrots currently look like they've been dragged through a hedge backwards. Maybe the adults are less responsive to grooming?

Something mysterious is happening to my dog Benjie. Yesterday his stats were Tough 9, Smart 4, Charm 2. Today his Smart stats has gone down to 3. Has anyone else noticed this happening to their pets?

It has happened before, Charlie. :( I think it's if you don't keep up with working on that stat. (So far I've only seen it happen with pets that haven't maxed out though. I won't be able to play too many cases for a few days now, so if my cat's stats drop, we'll know.) If you work on that stat though, you should be able to regain that lost point (and one more!) in a week (two?).

Charlie- I have had this happen to my dog as well after not playing for a day . If you don't use the skills, they lose points According to Yeti.
