Hi! I will participate today on the boardwalk today but I think it's in New York, right?
I only have 3 cases left today and I need 4 to travel to New York.
What can I do?

One says he can travel back using the seaplane after the Furore. Even unsubbed

The other says he is stuck in NY after the Furore when unsubbed. Can use plane to get there.

He is unsubbed.

Sorry I am being dense as a ton of bricks.

You need a ticket to use the seaplane. The seaplane will take you to the Boardwalk, then return you to your original city. You can not travel to NY from the Boardwalk unless you entered the Boardwalk from NY. Un-subs can use the sea plane.

Totally independent of the Furores un-subs can travel TO NY using train or ship. However they can not return to their original city without re-subbing.

My language was probably clunky, but I hope this post clears it up!

The seaplane is not considered usual travel, it can be used by anybody to get directly to the Boardwalk if/when they have a Furore ticket and then it takes them right back to the city they boarded the seaplane from. Since the Boardwalk was originally intended to be open to all players (subbed or unsubbed) too, it (only the seaplane) works for unsubbed dets too.

The normal travel (where you pay with cases and money, and totally un-associated with the Boardwalk) option is still closed to unsubbed dets unless those not in NY would like a one-way ticket back to NY.

If you made use of only the seaplane, you can return to your original city even when unsubbed. If you decided to travel to NY and access the Boardwalk from the NY map, you'd return to NY after the Furore, and if you were unsubbed, you can't travel any more until you resub (exceot between the Boardwalk and the rest of New York).

Got it, finally!! Thanks everyone for your patience and help. I was reading travel to New York as being the same as travel to the Boardwalk . Feeling really stupid
