As opposed to cheating, there might be guidelines of behavior we want to try to follow with each other. As the code of conduct discussion seemed to encompass both issues of gameplay and issues of etiquette, I thought I would try to separate them into two threads and see how that goes...bear in mind, Ben /has/ given moderators guidelines for message boards so that we don't just use our powers willy-nilly.

I would prefer that people refrain from personal attacks on the message boards. The only other thing that bothers me is offensive detective names. By offensive, I mean names that imply, for example, hatred towards a particular group of people. I have not seen many of these so it shouldn’t be difficult to spot them as they post in the public message boards.

Personal attacks. Ugh! I'm not going to say much on this, as I don't want to start trouble. But, as someone said in "Code of Conduct", in "Code of Conduct" many people made personal attacks. I really want to delete the thread, but people need to know what is going on, so, I will leave it for the time being.

As to manners, we need one rule. If it could offend someone or make them feel bad in any way, then don't post it!

Isn't this what jstkdn tried to do in ONE thread?

Uh, yeah. It seemed to me like that one thread went all over the place covering too many topics. I was trying to help the conversation become more orderly and less hurtful, Detective Smart Ass.
