With the firm application of bolt cutters the rusty padlock on the gates of the Boardwalk has been prised off. For a small fee at the ticket booth Detectives can take some down time to wander around the Boardwalk.

Whilst familiarising yourselves with the layout is a great idea, the real meat of the Boardwalk is the Carousel Furore; the times for these are listed on the case tab. The main way to get tickets is by solving cases at Really Really Hard or above in difficulty (the higher the difficulty, the better your chances). Your best chances of getting a ticket are an hour before a Furore is due to start, but if the tickets are gone they're gone.

Finally there is a second type of ticket; a back-up ticket. They will not be hard to find.

Happy sleuthing, and as ever please let me know when the bugs crop up and I'll deal with them ASAP.

I don't think that's a problem for me, though I can see why you'd be worried about getting smashed.

If I have a furore ticket scheduled for tomorrow, can I get another ticket for today? Or can you only have the one ticket at a time?

You can only have one ticket at a time, Keira. So the next time you'll be able to get one is after the furore you're signed up for tomorrow.

Thanks Riza! That's what I was thinking, but thought I would check :)

Just finished my first Furore and feel the need to publicly apologize to Sal Iva - I set up a trade for what I thought was the final clue we each needed to complete the Furore. Somehow I screwed that up and ended up giving him a clue he didn't need. I promise it was not intentional and feel horrible - so, Sal, I am so sorry! I definitely didn't mean to sucker you into anything - I wanted for both of us to complete it in time!

Yeti, is there a way for me to give my brass rings* to Sal? I am super sheepish at my mistake. It's a good thing our avatars are in black and white, because my cheeks are red!

*3rd place of course - we were up against glasse and Riza, the best in the game!

YIPEE!! I've got a Furore ticket!

Now, Riza and Glasse, please post your time zone and what hours you sleep so I can make sure I can pick a Furore where I'll actually have a chance of winning. :D

Oh dear David! Unfortunately there's no way to transfer rings. Poor Sal will always be left with the memory of your betrayal and nothing to show for it. Congratulations on finishing your first Furore though! :D

Well done, Sindy! I wish you the best of luck.

I think we are okay, David. It came from out of the blue, totally unexpected and it did sting. It's over and I think we should just go forward as if it never happened. After all, what real harm was done? A misunderstanding.
