With the firm application of bolt cutters the rusty padlock on the gates of the Boardwalk has been prised off. For a small fee at the ticket booth Detectives can take some down time to wander around the Boardwalk.

Whilst familiarising yourselves with the layout is a great idea, the real meat of the Boardwalk is the Carousel Furore; the times for these are listed on the case tab. The main way to get tickets is by solving cases at Really Really Hard or above in difficulty (the higher the difficulty, the better your chances). Your best chances of getting a ticket are an hour before a Furore is due to start, but if the tickets are gone they're gone.

Finally there is a second type of ticket; a back-up ticket. They will not be hard to find.

Happy sleuthing, and as ever please let me know when the bugs crop up and I'll deal with them ASAP.

Once again I'd like to thank everyone involved in the Boardwalk originally, with extra special thanks to Secret_Squirrel, and of course Ben without whom none of this would be possible. Squirrel involved in the first project, he's also helped me with testing the various stages this one has been in, created the banner advertisements, and worked without mercy to eliminate some of my more embarrassing typos.

I'm still being offered tickets for the furore beginning at 01.30 - which is past now. Is this a glitch - or just a way of keeping us on our toes?

Bug?

I declined the tickets, and the site goes back to the log-in page.

That's a glitch on both your parts. Thanks for mentioning it.

I was kicked out after both accepting and declining the tickets. I'm on the Sleuthetania.

You probably shouldn't be getting tickets on the Sleuthetania in the first place. Thanks for telling me.

I got a choice of times fro the furore ticket and clicked on 10.00 (ST) - but it took me to the login page. So don't know if I'm booked in or not. Btw do we need to save cases to take part?

I'm kinda lazy today, so I scheduled for 15.00. Didn't get booted or anything.

The ticket boot problem was an outside of New York issue, that, touch wood, has been solved now. The still getting tickets for the 1.30 game has also hopefully been solved. BadAss, I'm glad everything is working out for someone!

Cases do not need to be saved to take part, unless you're using a back-up ticket in which case you'll need them for travel.
