Hello everyone. It's been some time since we've had a game of Resistance, so I'll be hosting one (without story) for everyone to enjoy. If you've never played before, feel free to jump right into the world of uncertainty and lies. I promise lots of fun. :)

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

I thought bells meant that if this team was voted down due would use it on the next one. Not sure though.

What's the good argument against this team?

I just now believe there is a spy on the team.

If Bela is a spy, she could be trying to shoot down this team because it's clean.

If Sindy is a spy, I'm sure she would have dared Bela to use the card on her just to mess with her head.

I'm just saying, I'm not sure we have enough reason to believe that there could be another spy on the team than Sindy?

I could be completely wrong. But so far the ones I think are Resistance are Autumn, Lou, and Devi, and if we are now suspecting Devi who are we going to pick to go on the next team instead of her?

Also, you're supposed to really distrust Jintan if you're Resistance, so why are you considering his statements, and isn't it suspicious to you that he's been defending Yeti this whole time, and that he has not once included him as a possible suspect in his calculations?

Well, Cathy I am stopping by on occasion to read the posts. I have to say that I haven't seen or heard this much BS and misinformation since the presidential campaign. Since misinformation seems to be the order of the day, I was wondering if this wasn't actually a meeting of the Donald Trump fan club.

Okay, my public vote. I'd considered the fact that Sindy, were she a spy, could have loaded the team down with two spies. Herself and Devi (as if Sindy is a spy and lying about Bela, Devi must be a spy too). Bela pointed this out instead of just signing herself up to using the IN THE SPOTLIGHT power, and this is evidence in favour of Bela being Resistance. Sindy then said that if Bela isn't using IN THE SPOTLIGHT, she'll vote no. Why is Sindy so eager to vote down a mission just because she won't have a power used on her? Because she loaded the team down with two spies, that's why. The fact is I think there's enough evidence now to strongly suspect (if not outright know) that Devi and Sindy are spies, and that Bela is basically off the hook.

I vote NO.

My three most likely to be spies are:

Sindy, Devi and Cathy.

As a note to Lou I will not vote YES to any team that includes one of those three.

I ask you, what kind of a crazy world is it where you out a spy and end up being the one most suspicious? This is CRAZY!

And the idea that Devi is a spy is absolutely ridiculous as I'm sure every one else can agree. Of course only I *know* this, but Bela Talbot III is a spy and if Devi was a spy as well she would never in a million years put another spy on her team.
