Hello everyone. It's been some time since we've had a game of Resistance, so I'll be hosting one (without story) for everyone to enjoy. If you've never played before, feel free to jump right into the world of uncertainty and lies. I promise lots of fun. :)

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

Before I make my vote I'd like to hear what Bela has to say. Bela, I guess you're going to be voting this team down whether you're resistance or a spy, but if it does go ahead will you use your IN THE SPOTLIGHT power?

I'm not voting until the team decides what they'd like to do.

Mission 2, Team 2

Team Leader: Sindy

Team Proposal: Sindy, Devi, Lou, Autumn

It is now time for the players to vote to either approve or reject this mission proposal. When you do vote, please send me a PM stating "Mission 2, Team 2: YES/NO."

We can't go on the mission without knowing what Bela intends to do with her card.

Let's see if she makes a statement, and if she doesn't, I say we all vote it down.

Hi everyone, especially Lou. I was busy i forgot to vote. I am sorry. My only time to post is to say something would really improve our position. And an honest mistake to forgot.

And to Cathy, i just think that Yeti is towntelling right now. (Towntelling = term used in the game I was playing, just like this game. It means you are an innocent townie trying to help the bad guy in ways you can help. Because you see, you are just a simple man in the world of thieves and spies.)

And just because he is just towntelling upto this point, he can't be a spy. This is a long run, and i probably might change my reads. But I really think Autumnsprings is scummy. And either Bela or Devi and Lou or Sindy. Cathy is clean for me the way she is playing this.

Also I have already gave my vote in case i might run into some danger.

If you do the math in the latest mission.

Mission 1: Devi, Bela, Yeti (One of which is spy. Chance of 2 or more spy in the lineup is extremely low - see my previous posts why)

So to the 5 people left, probable chance of having a spy is 2/5

Mission 2: Sindy, Devi, Lou, Autumn

We chose 3 new people to the next mission. Chance of getting all 3 are resistance and the 2 that wasn't chosen are spy is extremely, tremendously, exceptionally, dangerously low. I hope you get my sarcasm.

If you get what I mean, the chance of a spy infiltrating is high.

But if you think this will really work, my NO vote can do nothing.

Ahh, paranoia indeed. :/ I'm sorry, I couldn't check in at all "last night", I'll try to post the short version of my suspicions for now; I'll do a better job on Sunday.

I have a theory, everybody. I know that at least one of DW and Yeti is a spy, and looking at Sindy's team, I think there's a real chance DW might be a spy. She isn't acting spy-ish at all, but that might be because she isn't online too often either. Sindy is a SPY and I don't remember if she normally takes a lot of chances, but getting the spies a 2-0 lead is not something I think she'd pass up. And with her daring me to put her under the spotlight, I feel like she's just setting up the stage for another spy she's planted on the team to sabotage the second mission. Or she could just sabotage the mission publicly; the lead the spies would get would probably compensate for her blowing her cover. Look at it from your own point of view: you'd know that Sindy is a spy. You'd know that there was at least one spy on the first mission. You'd have to swap Sindy out for a fourth person, and hope that there are no spies on that team - when there might have already been a spy apart from Sindy on the original team. I'm asking you to choose that next team for *this* mission instead. I do appreciate that you're not working on the same amount of information as me, though, so if everybody thinks we should try this team out, fine; I'll use my spotlight card on Sindy for the same mission. Please vote NO.

Doesn't make sense. "Bela or Devi and Lou or Sindy", which means that one from each pair is a spy. So u r saying that Devi and Lou can be spies and Bela and Sindy can both be innocent. Which doesn't make sense at all.

I can't tell, between Bela and Sindy, who the spy is. I can't tell who is being emotional and who is faking emotion to gain our trust. But neither of them is making complete sense. Whichever one of you is Resistance, please keep calm so we can try to identify you through your actions and words.
