As Miss Hawkeye will be quite busy doing background work on the Olympics, this round of Resistance will return to its original format. There will be no story to accompany the missions, but everything else will work the same as usual.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

Wow, Molly, already trying to cover your tracks before I got the information?

Justin is RESISTANCE! Now we know why our mission failed.

After carefully reviewing the stats, it is true there are two resistance members within the rest of the group. My guess is Devi & Bela. Devi doesn't sound like a spy by the way she was wailing about being framed (unless she's a superior actress), and the way Sal had been acting was suspicious so it was likely that Bela just happened to open up to a spy unknowingly.

Gosh. So Molly is a SPY?! Who'd have thought it?

Joseph, I called Molly out before you revealed her. All my voting has been on point so far, once you view it through the sphere of Devi being a spy. If you put Devi on your next team she WILL sabotage the mission. Even if you don't really trust me right now, at least go with Bela instead of Devi. Please, please don't go for Devi.

Oh go eat some tree bark, Yeti. It's tiresome to read your posts at this point, really.

Given how Joseph just pointed out his finger at Molly and how adamant Yeti is to say Molly is a soy, I'm going to say Joseph is the third spy. Since Yeti is a spy he wouldn't put the lights over Molly on purpose if she were a spy. I believe Joseph would try to avoid doing the same thing Yeti did to me and told the truth about Justin instead. Therefore, the spies in this game are Yeti, Joseph and Sal, although I've already expressed my doubts about the latter.

Announcer, can I use the power?

Don't jump to conclusion Devi! Just because I found out Molly is a spy and it happens to align with what Yeti has been claiming doesn't make me a spy. Yeti is a master of deception. Don't fall into his traps. I gave you the Strong leader card because I believe I can trust you, so go ahead using it. Just don't put Molly on your team!

STRONG LEADER can only be used before power distribution, so Devi, you'll have to hold onto the ability for now.

Joseph, please propose a team of 3 people. Hopefully before the server throws another fit. :)
