As Miss Hawkeye will be quite busy doing background work on the Olympics, this round of Resistance will return to its original format. There will be no story to accompany the missions, but everything else will work the same as usual.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

Honestly Yeti, this seems like a big ol frame-up. I'm starting to think the way you and Sal are interacting, that you two are in cahoots. Sal could have played that In the Spotlight card and it would have been invaluable in determining whether JZ or Justin was the spy. He didn't play it. Just like he "forgot" this that and the other thing. Suddenly you're blowing smoke at me and I feel it's a cover for someone else on this team. Almost as though you knew it would be sabotaged and you wanted to be certain everyone pointed the finger in my direction. My money is on Yeti, Sal and a third being the spy. im not sure between JZ and Justin, but it's one of them.

Joseph has chosen to keep OVERHEARD CONVERSATION for himself, and use it on Justin. I will PM Joseph with Justin's allegiance immediately.

Joseph has chosen to give his STRONG LEADER ability to Devi.

It is now time for Joseph to propose a team of 3 people.

Wow, Molly, already trying to cover your tracks before I got the information?

Justin is RESISTANCE! Now we know why our mission failed.

After carefully reviewing the stats, it is true there are two resistance members within the rest of the group. My guess is Devi & Bela. Devi doesn't sound like a spy by the way she was wailing about being framed (unless she's a superior actress), and the way Sal had been acting was suspicious so it was likely that Bela just happened to open up to a spy unknowingly.

Gosh. So Molly is a SPY?! Who'd have thought it?

Joseph, I called Molly out before you revealed her. All my voting has been on point so far, once you view it through the sphere of Devi being a spy. If you put Devi on your next team she WILL sabotage the mission. Even if you don't really trust me right now, at least go with Bela instead of Devi. Please, please don't go for Devi.

Oh go eat some tree bark, Yeti. It's tiresome to read your posts at this point, really.
