As Miss Hawkeye will be quite busy doing background work on the Olympics, this round of Resistance will return to its original format. There will be no story to accompany the missions, but everything else will work the same as usual.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

Molly, and yes you too Bela.

Joseph and DW both voted success in Mission One. I feel strongly that one is a spy and have said as much. So I want to see what happens with the other. We know nothing about Justin.

I said (and meant) I had this team in mind before I got the pm fron the Announcer about your allegiance. Should you be on this team? Probably, I had been looking for something specific and the information about your allegiance COULD/SHOULD have changed my mind. It all happened in a fast succession and I'm also doing the Olympics, so I was all over in my head. So, vote it down and look for another team. We might find it wasier to find the Resistance than the spies.

I do have to say, any mission that Yeti shoots down, I am inclined to push through. I suspect him, and I also know he wouldn't push through a mission without a fellow spy on it. Worst case scenario he would be more silent.

You get more suspicious with every round, Molly. What'll your vote be then?

With regards to Sal and his team line up, I think there's three potential reasons he acted as he did.

1) He and Bela are both Resistance, he truly had a brain fog moment.
2) He is a spy and Bela is Resistance. He had his spy team lined up, and didn't think to change it after learning that Bela was Resistance.
3) He and Bela are both spies. Wanting to avoid putting her on his team (of course) he invents a convenient brain fog.

Frankly with Sal any of these three could be correct, though it's interesting to note that in 2/3 scenarios he's a spy whereas Bela is the flip side being resistance in 2/3 scenarios.

Apologies! I had been super busy for the past two days. To continue with my train of thought from the last time, I have my intuitions and wasn't sure if they were right or not. After reading up on what has past since then, I think the turn of events is proofing that perhaps I am correct.

I have to vote no for this mission. That's all I will say for now.

I'd love to hear thoughts on these votes. Oh dang! I just realized I didn't vote publicly. Anyway I went with yes because Yeti opposed, quite frankly. JZ do you care to share?

I, of course, won't vote for any team proposed with Devi on it. I'm also going to be quite cautious about any team with either you or Sal on it, Molly. You two are my biggest red flags at the moment.

Oh poo, Yeti. You're just saying that because you're mad that I'm suspicious of you. It's not my fault you and DW went and turned us all on our ear but it doesn't mean I'm a spy.

Also why are you changing your stance on Sal? He was your first pick in the game, are you purposely distancing yourself from him now for a particular reason?
