As Miss Hawkeye will be quite busy doing background work on the Olympics, this round of Resistance will return to its original format. There will be no story to accompany the missions, but everything else will work the same as usual.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

I am anxious to have the chance to team with my old pal, Yeti. All right you spies, were coming after you.

Nothing was fast other than Yeti showing that he's a spy since he lied about me being one. That means he and Sal are both spies this round. That is why he doesn't want me to pick a team next round and why he lied. You sneaky, lying furface

Oh, what I wanted to say I'm pretty sure is frowned upon in the boards here. He's lying and trying to make me look bad and I won't have it. You're just trying to get everyone to believe your BS based on how they believed your word in the last games. Instead of telling the truth, namely that I'm RESISTANCE, you're saying I'm a Spy so you can make your own game of sinking down this game.

I'm telling everyone now: Yeti and Sal are SPIES. Yeti is certainly one and based on how Sal is acting, he is one too, having drawn the short stick twice in a row. This mission needs to fail and so do any other teams that include these two. Sniffing out the third spy is going to be a bit more difficult, but at this point we already know of two of them. Say No to this team and let's make up a team of Resistance members instead.

Yeti I'm terribly sorry for betraying your hard one trust in the last game... You don't pick the allegiance, the allegiance picks you. :D hopefully we can move on and I can prove my virtue in this round.

I'm anxious to hear what Sal has to say about this little standoff. In my experience I don't think a spy would be so clumsy right out of the gate with this strategy, and Yeti is a particularly smooth operator. Lying about an allegiance as a first game move? Bold, or darn silly.

It's the only strategy he can pick this early on in the game. Try to discredit me since I'm next up and I obviously know he's a Spy now that he's lied about my allegiance. Plus, he said he'd like to skip my turn on picking a team, thus moving the line to Sal, who is also a Spy. Boom. Two wins for the spies. If you all don't believe me and say No to Yeti's team, the Resistance will lose. And don't come running crying to me after I've consumed so much time to warn you all.
