One of the most prominent yet elusive people of Sleuthville, the legendary Big Lucy herself, is hitting a new milestone in life. While none are bold enough to inquire her age, rumors say this is a momentous occasion. The guest list is comprised of the most prominent and affluent people in Sleuthville and beyond.

However, some of Sleuthville's own working class have been invited-- not as guests, but as special operatives to patrol the event. They have been selected for their swiftness, skill, and intelligence. They will be entrusted with making sure that Big Lucy's Birthday Bash goes off without a hitch. But, as always, there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames.

A mere three minutes before the event is scheduled to start, the operatives are informed of an alarming development. There has been a breach within the ranks, and a number of spies have infiltrated the group! Having never seen each others' faces, there is no way to discern whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.

The operatives' job this evening is to make sure Big Lucy's birthday celebration goes off without a hitch. If she is pleased at the end of the night, it is almost guaranteed that they will lead easy lives from thereon out. Whispers say Big Lucy may be more forgiving on her big day, but even she has her limits...

Will Big Lucy's birthday bash be a huge success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

Joseph and Sal have both been listed as spies by Yeti. I am thinking that he might really be on to something here. I have suggested a roster that I would be more comfortable with, as has Autumn. But both of these teams were rejected. That seems fishy to me. If Joseph were truly one of the resistance, why not take one of the proposed teams? It is starting to feel like Joseph is trying to maneuver a spy onto a team that was clean. As it stands now, I can't support this mission team, so I vote no.

Marc, the mission failed because Joseph sabotaged it. Once we vote down this proposal we'll presumably have to vote down Ms Helen's too. It'd be really great if you could go with the Yeti-Keira-Devi-Autumn unity team, as we'll only have one more shot at putting together a team after you.

Sorry I'll be voting this down as Autumn is on it and of everyone she's the one I seriously think to be a spy.

Oh, Autumn's the problem? I thought I was the problem. Or Keira was the problem. Maybe I think we should all go and have a Spy party together, and that's why I'm gunning for us all to be on a mission together.

Whoo! Spy party!

I never said Keira was a problem? I said I don't trust you or Autumn and as Autumn is on the team I've voted no for it. Which I said I would do earlier on so it's no big surprise.

Joseph dear, my son is 14 months old. I haven't even been doing my cases in the past few days due to exhaustion. He's being a lot more active than my coffee can cover. I'm sending in my vote in a second, too.

My vote is no.

The team that I suggested is clean. The team that J suggested was clean. The team that Yeti suggested was clean. Yeti and J are right, Joseph is desperate and trying to get a spy on a clean team.

This team has a spy on it, and it will fail. That spy is Sal. If it passes, Sal will sabotage and blame it on me. Leaving the spies up 2-0, which makes the next mission critical. And it is led by Helen. Resistance members should vote no.

Fellow Resistance members: reminder that if we reject 5 teams, the spies will win.

So many theories and too little fact out there. A lot of suspicious activity is going on. Joseph is a little suspicious as he was on the first mission that failed and has now proposed another team. I have no information regarding Sal or Sindy other than they voted yes. I am still a little leery that we are being led to paranoia and voting no. Aaaaggh- this game is evil(but fun)!

Keira, I know you're resistance. Yes I could be lying. Yes I could be playing you. But I'm not. I'm trying to get three resistance successes. Trust yeti's judgement. I do. When it comes to this game and coding anyway. ;)

Yes, Autumnsprings trusts Yeti's judgment because she and Yeti are spies! That has been my thought from the very first because they were the ones posting and trying to persuade others. The resistance has nothing to prove, it's the spies who have to influence others' opinions. I think Keira is resistance because I think she was just a pawn of Yeti's in his game strategy. My third strong suspicion is Devi because she can rest on her record of always voting "yes." Good tactic for when your turn comes to be the spy. I am also a little suspicious of Joseph and M. Lacrimosa.

Viva la resistance! *she cries in a very bad French accent*
