One of the most prominent yet elusive people of Sleuthville, the legendary Big Lucy herself, is hitting a new milestone in life. While none are bold enough to inquire her age, rumors say this is a momentous occasion. The guest list is comprised of the most prominent and affluent people in Sleuthville and beyond.

However, some of Sleuthville's own working class have been invited-- not as guests, but as special operatives to patrol the event. They have been selected for their swiftness, skill, and intelligence. They will be entrusted with making sure that Big Lucy's Birthday Bash goes off without a hitch. But, as always, there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames.

A mere three minutes before the event is scheduled to start, the operatives are informed of an alarming development. There has been a breach within the ranks, and a number of spies have infiltrated the group! Having never seen each others' faces, there is no way to discern whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.

The operatives' job this evening is to make sure Big Lucy's birthday celebration goes off without a hitch. If she is pleased at the end of the night, it is almost guaranteed that they will lead easy lives from thereon out. Whispers say Big Lucy may be more forgiving on her big day, but even she has her limits...

Will Big Lucy's birthday bash be a huge success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

I'm insisting on being on missions with Keira, Autumn. It wouldn't make sense to do that if we were both spies. So any resistance can be pretty confident of Keira, therefore the figures remain the same.

1/3 spy chance from the first group, 3/5 in the second. The best bet is, ironically, on someone from a failed team.

This game is so frustrating and so fun at the same time. Haha.

Yeti,

For this explanation, let's assume you're a spy.
I can think of several strategies where it would benefit you to advocate for both you and Kiera on the same team. I can also think of 2 benefits for you voting 'no' on the first team while knowing there was a spy on it.

I agree with you, Justin. My head is just exploding right now! My "to trust list" get scratched out and reintroduced and scratched out again that, if it was on a piece of paper there should be holes on it by now!!

:0)

I keep coming up with theories on who the spy is, and then just before I hit post, I change my mind and delete it just to start over again. The game creator is evil. Haha. Well, it is keeping me entertained while we sat in the ER for Autumn. (She is home asleep now, but no answers on what is happening with her eyesight. At least it isn't life threatening.)

On a side note, I actually did a case again. First time in years and years. It was just an easy. But it let me try it again while she was getting a CT.

Also, I just want to say it is good to see some old friends, and make new ones here in sleuth. Anyways, I better get to sleep.

Oh no, is Autumn alright? Was she admitted into the ER? I hope the results come back okay!

Not if Keira was also a spy, Autumn. You can assume I'm a spy, but Keira is safe.

Oh, and I've just read about the ER. I hope your eye sight gets sorted out.

Hi everyone. Thank you for the concern. :) This post will only be about last night. Nothing resistance related so you can skip it if you'd like.

So far we don't think it's cataracts. It wasn't a stroke. I had a head CT scan and some blood work done. Blood work came back normal.

The CT scan showed something that looked like something called an arachnoid cyst. It's like a mole on the brain. The doctor doesn't think it's related to this at all. Here's my theory on the cyst: I've been having a LOT of headaches lately and brain injuries can cause the cyst. Headaches apparently count as brain injury.

As for my anxiety (which could be doing this although the doctor didn't seem to think it was likely) he said the dose I was on for my anxieties medicine was "a baby dose. Like an 8 year old. You should be taking at least double, maybe triple that." So he changed the dosing instructions.

The eye...I have to go to an ophthalmologist and get some tests done. I'm essentially blind in my left eye. I can see shapes and minor differences in color, but that's all. We did a vision acuity test (the big E eye chart for those in the States) and with my glasses, my right eye was 20/20. My left, I could see the frame the chart was in. I could see the area inside the frame was a slightly different color than the wall around it. But I couldn't see the chart. Not even the big E.

I'm trying not to panic. I'm trying to be confident it's the anxiety.

I don't know what the upcoming week holds, but I will do my best to keep up. I have told the announcer I would resign if he thinks that's best. I don't want to, but if it's best for the game, and best for my health I will have to. I'm sorry. Hopefully I won't have to.
