One of the most prominent yet elusive people of Sleuthville, the legendary Big Lucy herself, is hitting a new milestone in life. While none are bold enough to inquire her age, rumors say this is a momentous occasion. The guest list is comprised of the most prominent and affluent people in Sleuthville and beyond.

However, some of Sleuthville's own working class have been invited-- not as guests, but as special operatives to patrol the event. They have been selected for their swiftness, skill, and intelligence. They will be entrusted with making sure that Big Lucy's Birthday Bash goes off without a hitch. But, as always, there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames.

A mere three minutes before the event is scheduled to start, the operatives are informed of an alarming development. There has been a breach within the ranks, and a number of spies have infiltrated the group! Having never seen each others' faces, there is no way to discern whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.

The operatives' job this evening is to make sure Big Lucy's birthday celebration goes off without a hitch. If she is pleased at the end of the night, it is almost guaranteed that they will lead easy lives from thereon out. Whispers say Big Lucy may be more forgiving on her big day, but even she has her limits...

Will Big Lucy's birthday bash be a huge success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

Yeti, keep in mind out of all ten of us, the only ones who KNOW Kiera's allegiance are you and Kiera.

The only one who KNOWS your allegiance is you. While it's unlikely that if both of you are spies you would advocate for both of you being on the rest of the teams, you could be hitching yourself to Kiera's wagon so to speak.

It is quite possible that Yeti is indeed a Spy, but then again, I always suspect the worst of him in these games. In which case, Keira could very well be part of Resistance. Had he lied about it, she'd have told him off, which isn't the case. She could also be a spy and they're protecting each other, especially given Yeti's plea for her to reveal her allegiance to him.

Ah. Too much drama for me. I have sunburns and a toddler to run around after. Hoping everyone is safe given the events of the past few days, and Ms. Sindy due to the tornadoes mentioned a few (ok, a lot) pages back.

The only thing I know for sure is that I am in the resistance.

I don't have enough information about other players yet to make an informed decision about allegiances. I just have my suspicions.

I don't know Yeti's allegiance and he very well could be a spy. But then it wouldn't have made sense for him to vote no for the Mission 1 team 1 knowing there was a spy on there. Or maybe he is being sneaky and trying to throw others off.

Both Joseph and Autumn were on the first mission with Marc and there was at least 1 spy on that team. I think I will wait for more information about these 3 to weed out who the spy is.

This game reminds me of a Nancy Drew minigame called "Monster." You can play as the cows or as the monsters. If you're playing as the monsters, you have to kill a cow on every turn and then you get to move your pieces around. The point is to move in such a way as to avoid detection. If you're playing as the cows, the object is to guess which playing pieces are the monsters. Whoever has the most pieces on the board at the end of the game wins.

Or something like that...

I'm insisting on being on missions with Keira, Autumn. It wouldn't make sense to do that if we were both spies. So any resistance can be pretty confident of Keira, therefore the figures remain the same.

1/3 spy chance from the first group, 3/5 in the second. The best bet is, ironically, on someone from a failed team.

This game is so frustrating and so fun at the same time. Haha.

Yeti,

For this explanation, let's assume you're a spy.
I can think of several strategies where it would benefit you to advocate for both you and Kiera on the same team. I can also think of 2 benefits for you voting 'no' on the first team while knowing there was a spy on it.

I agree with you, Justin. My head is just exploding right now! My "to trust list" get scratched out and reintroduced and scratched out again that, if it was on a piece of paper there should be holes on it by now!!

:0)

I keep coming up with theories on who the spy is, and then just before I hit post, I change my mind and delete it just to start over again. The game creator is evil. Haha. Well, it is keeping me entertained while we sat in the ER for Autumn. (She is home asleep now, but no answers on what is happening with her eyesight. At least it isn't life threatening.)

On a side note, I actually did a case again. First time in years and years. It was just an easy. But it let me try it again while she was getting a CT.

Also, I just want to say it is good to see some old friends, and make new ones here in sleuth. Anyways, I better get to sleep.
