In just under six weeks, the 31st Summer Olympics and the 15th Paralympics will occur in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Athletes from over 190 countries around the world will gather to compete in some 35 different overall sports over a period of about 3 weeks.

Many people have commented recently that they would like to see some more activities taking place here on Sleuth. A few of us creatively evil types were wondering if we put together a series of activities for people, would y'all be interested??

We are looking for at least 8-12 people, of all experience levels; both hunters (treasure, casework, and Arch Villain) and writers will be needed. People will be competing in a team format. We're probably looking at Subbed players for now, but we're working on having at least two activities (not necessarily part of the teams, but supplemental to them) that will be exclusive to UNSUBBED players. All of these activities will have an Olympics theme.

So. Any takers?? ;-)

Please let us know below.

Thank you!!

I'm finally beginning to feel some relief. Not quite ready for a triathlon but at least I managed to empty the dishwasher (is that an Olympic discipline too?).

So yeah, Team C, let's stick our heads together and see what comes out.

YYYYAAAAYYYYY!!!!! Our prodigal detectives have returned to the fold. Thank you!! ;-D

Hi guys. We have a slight hiccup here.

We have a couple of people who have signed up who potentially may not be able to compete for the entire tournament. And while I can just drop them from the contest, it means that two teams will be competing with only 3 players. I REALLLLY want everyone to start off on a even playing field here, as I'm sure all of you do. Ergo, I'd like to find a couple (2-3) of people who would be willing to act as a substitute/alternate for the duration of the Olympics. You could be available for part of that time, or all of it; we'll work around your schedule.

So. PLEASE, if you've thought about signing up at all, please do so. If you've thought even one of the ideas I've floated around here sounds like fun, PLEASE sign up. If you've looked at the teams, and want the chance to beat the pants off of one of the other teams or one of its players, PLEASE sign up now. We really need a couple of people to sign up and help out the people who already have signed up here.

Again, thank you to everyone who has already signed up, and thank you to those who sign up now. Everyone here deeply appreciates your support.

Thank you!! ;-)

I can't get into bar chat? :/ Anyone else having this problem? Or do I need to adjust a setting on my computer?

The bar chat is currently broken. However, the new bar chat should be getting deployed (touch wood) sometime this week.
