In just under six weeks, the 31st Summer Olympics and the 15th Paralympics will occur in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Athletes from over 190 countries around the world will gather to compete in some 35 different overall sports over a period of about 3 weeks.

Many people have commented recently that they would like to see some more activities taking place here on Sleuth. A few of us creatively evil types were wondering if we put together a series of activities for people, would y'all be interested??

We are looking for at least 8-12 people, of all experience levels; both hunters (treasure, casework, and Arch Villain) and writers will be needed. People will be competing in a team format. We're probably looking at Subbed players for now, but we're working on having at least two activities (not necessarily part of the teams, but supplemental to them) that will be exclusive to UNSUBBED players. All of these activities will have an Olympics theme.

So. Any takers?? ;-)

Herr McCoy -- Vielen Dank fuer Ihren Frage. Leider bin ich nur einer arme Student und echte Anhaenger. Viele Jahren vor lebte ich einen Semester bei einer Familie in der Naehe von Zuerich. Sie waren mir so gastfreundlich und grosszuegig, dass ich ihren Namen fuer diesen Typ uebernommen habe. Ich entschueldige mich fuer meine Fehlern und auch fuer die Nebenkonjunktionen.

For those not so well versed in German, Mr. McCoy advised me to opt to use German. He then asked if i counted myself as an actual confederate or comrade (of the Swiss nation). I replied that alas I was a poor student and true admirer of the Swiss (or in other words, a confederate in my heart if not citizenship).

I then related that I use the last name of the family that i lived with for a semester. This family had been so welcoming and generous to me that i borrowed their name in building my character. I also apologized for any grammatical errors. L

There are four teams, with four players on each team. Each player currently has the Agency that they are currently in listed next to their name. So, without further ado, here we go: ;-)

Okay, Teams, you have one week to get to know each other and move on to the next step. You all need to get together, pick a city to headquarter in, and create an Agency with your teammates. You need to come up with an Agency name, slogan, and anything else you think will help your team stand out. Be funny, be patriotic, be fanatical, but most importantly, be unique!! You can come up with a mascot, biographies, offices on your agency message board, website, and anything else you can think of. But you only have a week to do it. So get to it!! ;-)

On Monday, August 1, 2016, two judges will be coming around to each of your Agencies to have a look at all your hard work. They will be scoring teams on creativity, adherence to the criteria, and extent of detail. First place gets 10 points, second place gets 7, third place gets 5, and fourth place gets 3 points.

So. On your marks. Get set. GGGOOOO!!!!!! ;-D ;-D ;-D
