There may have been some cultural problems but I think in this case it was more complacency. Belgium has always been regarded as an underdog and they were fine with it. This time however they were proclaimed to be semi final material and that doesn't seem to suit them very well.

Oh well, one battle doesn't mean the whole war.

Sorry, I'm not up on my Euro football these days. Who's still in the running, and who d'ya like?? I always had a soft spot for Liechtenstein. ;-)

I do (you'd be surprised at how many people who can't ;-), but Luc used to live there. He's a Switzerland fan. I figured since Liechtenstein was so small, they keep getting beat up by everyone else, so they deserve all the support they can get. ;-D

Liechtenstein would be cute but there not in the tournament. But if you have a penchant for the underdog there's other small nations that are indeed in the final round such as Iceland, Northern Ireland and Albania.
