I've noticed since a while that a few amazing sleuths here have positive standings with ALL the factions: I know that's possible, but when you do favors for one faction, you go down with the others, and of course those secret plans are always there, BUT, when you get a negative standing with a faction, what do you all do? (I'm not talking about -1 or -3, I mean -10 and so on.)

The only way I know right now is by solving cases for the faction and quitting those against them, is there any other way?

Also, positive standings decrease each day; do negative ones decrease by themselves too? I really haven't noticed!

If you're in an active agency you can get your agency mates to save cases that have the particular political standing you want and then open them and get a quick catch up. I believe that's what the cool kids do.
