As a well to do gentleman who takes a certain pride in his appearance and is always stunningly attired, I'm finding it incresingly frustrating when walking amongst the fine folk here at Sleuthville. In greeting said folk, I reach to tip my hat and bid them 'good morning' only to find I've a ragamuffin lump of dead animal covering my brow totally unsuitable for tipping. Can somebody help me?
If theres a gentlemanly hat out there with a charm bonus of 4 or more please let me know.

Silver lighter's a good idea, I think. There don't seem to be any lighters around far as I recall.

What about a hat like Wayne's avatar, or (I'll say it again) a Bogart Fedora, is there anyone more charming than Bogart, for the charming guys? I know we already have fedora's but not like Bogarts. Anything's got to better than the pillbox and the seal skin hats.

I would love a cap like the one in my avatar. If it's a Tough item, I'll definitely wear it!
Elsewhere you mentioned an old military suit. I was imagining those yellow or beige colored clothes worn by retired colonels/majors, or sometimes adventurers/explorers in those mansion mysteries (like Colonel Mustard in Clue). I don't know what those are called, but comes with a helmet.
