The rival factions of the city of Shangri-La have been at odds for years. The Tigers seek to crush all opposition to the Prince’s rule, while the Tea Steepers are disapproving of the new Prince’s disregard for the peaceful traditions of Shangri-La.

To complicate an already fragile state of co-existence, quite a few nemesis hunters have gained the trust of both factions. Both factions, while obliged to be cordial to their new saviours, are feeling uneasy with what is apparently the new status-quo. The Prince’s soldiers have worked to ensured that the Monastery is off-limits to all visitors to Shangri-La, but this hasn’t stopped the Steepers from finding detectives sympathetic to their cause and collaborating with them " and the Tigers know it.

With the haunting clickety-clack-clack of countless pairs of Polka Dot Pumps ringing in his ears, the Chief of the Tigers of Shangri-La resolves to destroy the Tea Steepers once and for all. The Tea Steepers, fully aware of the plans the Tigers have in store for them, put together a team of detectives to put their plan into action. The wise monks of Shangri-La (after a few brainstorming sessions with the Scholars of Shangri-La " because you can never escape the Scholars of Shangri-La) know that there is but one way to protect their campaign against what they believe to be the Prince’s oppressive rule. However, the Prince’s Chief of Security has managed to sneak a few trusted informers onto the team.

Will the Steepers succeed? Will their champions succumb to the scheming of the spies? Will we ever figure out what's going on with Rasputin’s Egg? How many Sparkly Vests are the Tigers slowly processing to create"? Whoa, I nearly gave the game away there. Anyway, let’s find out!

The more I think about it, the less I suspect Yeti. Absolutely nothing he has done is suspicious. I'm going to trust him, tentatively. And I much prefer his mission proposal.

Furthermore, though Molly may be a good actress, she doesn't fool me. Very few people do.

I'm 99% certain that if this mission goes forward, it will fail. You already know I think Molly is a spy, and I'm pretty sure now that Devi is as well. So I vote NO. Anyone who votes otherwise is highly suspicious.

Sal, I know you appreciate logical deduction as much as I do, but I also know you like to win too. So. :)

Sure Sal, as long as you do get it in :D

That's what I had to check, Molly; DW has given OPEN UP to Yeti to use on a player of his choice (I will PM that player with Yeti's allegiance). As soon as he confirms who he wants to use it on, I'll shoot off that PM.

It'd hardly be fair to the spies if we were not playing to win. It was kind of Devi to give me the OPEN UP power, but being a Tigress she could hardly use it on herself without taking a rather large gamble.

I'm going to reveal my allegiance to Molly again. Then we can shoot down this mission once and for all, knowing full well a Tiger is on it (as I am not), and then roll out the Yeti, Molly, Sal team with Riza using her power on either Molly or Sal. If Riza is Resistance she'll know the mission will fail, but we'll also determine the second spy for certain and win on Mission 5.

I'm getting sick of trying to post items and having them NOT show up.

Excerpts for S. I.'s notes.

Mission 1 Molly has proposed that I be her partner on the first mission. Why? I'm assuming that the objective is to either find something out or to cause confusion. If she is resistance and I am a spy she gives me the opportunity to vote success and conceal my allegiance for at least one round. With all the pre mission talk, I would have thought that if she was resistance she might have chosen Yeti. But if she's a spy then she knows I'm resistance and it creates the same opportunity to obscure her allegiance for at least a round. We could still both be resistance and she randomly selected another resistor, but the skeptic in me isn't having it. Not yet anyway.

Mission 2 Riza has chosen Molly and I to participate in another mission together. Hmm. The mission fails. So, either Riza is a spy who just comes in makes a strong arm vote and tries to cast blame on one or both of the others, who just voted success on the last mission, or Molly is the spy and has been handed the golden opportunity to now vote sabotage and point at Riza and I. They could both be spies too and voted in a way to keep the smoke screen up a little longer, but this seems less likely to me. Now I must keep an eye on both.

Mission 3 I didn't expect this mission to come down to me. Why did Yeti pass? I have to try to make this mission team be him and I. If Yeti is a resistor then the mission will succeed. If he's a spy, he knows that I am resistance and voting sabotage will definitely out him to me. But it will provide a win for the resistance if that happens. I think the risk/reward is worth it. Either we regain the lead or I know he's a spy and have a 50/5o chance with the other. I hope it's approved.

Sorry. In Mission 3 I meant I meant that if he is a spy and votes succeed it will mean a win for the resistance.

Hey, that's finally happened to somebody other than me! :P I think I lost the first thing I posted (the Mission 1 description, I think - I got logged out because I might have taken half an hour. Forty minutes?); I pressed back immediately because sometimes all the text will still be there in this box, but that time the computer was having none of it. Great start :D

Yeti has chosen to reveal his allegiance to Molly; I've PM'ed her with it.

I get logged out all the time too, especially since I'm always using my phone to post. I quit om several replies because I lost all that I've written... :/

I'm pleased to announce that Yeti is also RESISTANCE. :) This confirms (to me at least) that 2 out of the 3 Resistance members have been uncovered, but I'm a little stumped on how to proceed now because I have two people accusing me of being a spy when I am Resistance and that is the move of a spy. Is it both of them or because one simply doesn't know, being Resistance?

Sal, to answer your point about Mission 1, as publicly stated my goal is to spread the love as far and wide in the first round as possible. I gifted a power to Riza and chose you not knowing at all what your allegiance could be. I was reasonably certain Yeti was not a spy, because that would be a crazy strategy. Therefore if using Mission 1 and even Mission 2 as fact-finding, I would not choose the certain in favor of the uncertain. I hope that clears that up for you.

I don't know what to say about Mission 2 other than it has to reasonably be either you or Riza. I know I voted SUCCEED, and I know that Riza has thrown a wrench in the works by not using the power she had. She also hasn't used Strong Leader, and if she was Resistance she could have easily wrestled a team proposition from Devi who she states she knows is a spy and proposed a successful team to carry Resistance to another win. To me, her argument (I'm a good actress and that's all?) is not even based in reality and that's why I immediately suspect her. But maybe that's just Riza being Riza.

I have consistently voted in the open and discussed at length what to do with my certain ally, Yeti and carefully moved to benefit the Resistance in every vote and opportunity that has come up. I'm stumped because we don't have any conclusive information about Riza or Sal. Is it likely that Devi is a spy, yes, unless its Riza and Sal both. Is that even possible though? I'd bank it's probably just one. It's insanely suspect to me that they both suspect me though.

Yeti, what are your thoughts now that you've been outed as Resistance?

My thoughts are the same as ever - they'd only have changed if you had decided to lie about my allegiance, Molly.

Devi is a tiger, I am a monk. Therefore there is a spy amongst the should-be-noble ranks of Riza, Molly and Sal. If a team is put together containing myself, Molly, and Sal, then Riza can use her SPOTLIGHT power on Molly or Sal. This way the Steepers are either victorious, or the second spy can be ascertained.

Mission 4 is vital for confirming who the traitors are, and knowing this is so my fellow Resistors must vote down Devi's proposal.
