I've started work on the next update for Sleuth, and as promised it's going to be a content update. However, it's going to take a while before any of you see it, at least two months, potentially far longer than that.

Now I would hate to leave you all in the Sleuth wilderness, totally devoid of changes, so every one to two weeks I'll create an update from the suggestions you give here. An example of a small update (from the desk of Bela Talbot III) would be including your most recent fortune telling in the case file so long as you haven't discovered any new suspects since then.

Whilst this is going on I'll also fix up the small bugs lying around the game. For example, there's a certain accessory devouring fox that needs reining in, and possibly relocating. So don't worry about suggesting bug fixes here. Keep it to small things you'd like to see, or small annoyances you'd like changed.

That *is* a cool idea Badass. Perhaps more factions is just what Cairo needs.

Cathy, SS and KN should be appearing already in the witness notes.

I like the all seeing eye, Autumn. There's lots of Egyptian stuff you can add like the golden scarab for instance, or the ankh. A scepter perhaps.

Hell, King Tut's death mask as head gear would be awesome too I think.

And if you're looking for faction titles this link may give some inspiration.

Yes, they do :). I was just wondering if they could appear next to the suspect's name that one is interviewing and not just in the notes.

SS is actually useful in the notes, but I think KN would be more useful next to the suspect's name, as a reminder to ask them for motives (in the notes, their names are crossed out anyway, it serves no additional purpose there).

And SS next to the suspects' names would be a useful reminder NOT to ask them for motives early on when one is fishing for more suspects.

Also, it would be useful to have the damning PE squared in the interview page as well as on the map (although that might be confusing for some if the suspect has a real alibi).

Anyway, those are just my two cents.

That's a badass suggestion, BadAss :)) No, really, puns aside, I'd love for there to be more to do in Cairo.

What about allowing us to write outros as well as intros? That would add some flavor to the story.

Thanks for going into more detail Cathy. Those are good ideas!

Autumn, I'd love the intros to be able to tie into the whole case somehow, including with outros. But yeah, at the very least it'd be good to write outros. :-)

So how about we integrate the Judge of Character skill into the presentation? I mean, instead of having to click on the judge of character link to know if to use charm or to threaten the suspect / or townie, you'd just get the info below the usual "they're blonde and have three heads"description? If you have the skill the info appears below, if not, there's text like "you couldn't determine what type of skills to use blabla" I just find it annoying to always click on that since my Internet is sometimes crap (when I play on one of those Internet sticks used while traveling). Do I make any sense?

If we use "underworld connections", can it just direct us immediately to that particular suspect? Instead of doing that extra click were we're told that we used underworld connections. Seems kind of redundant to me.
