I've started work on the next update for Sleuth, and as promised it's going to be a content update. However, it's going to take a while before any of you see it, at least two months, potentially far longer than that.

Now I would hate to leave you all in the Sleuth wilderness, totally devoid of changes, so every one to two weeks I'll create an update from the suggestions you give here. An example of a small update (from the desk of Bela Talbot III) would be including your most recent fortune telling in the case file so long as you haven't discovered any new suspects since then.

Whilst this is going on I'll also fix up the small bugs lying around the game. For example, there's a certain accessory devouring fox that needs reining in, and possibly relocating. So don't worry about suggesting bug fixes here. Keep it to small things you'd like to see, or small annoyances you'd like changed.

It's funny you should say that Devilish, years and years ago someone asked the same question and I think there was uproar lol.

I like the way the boards are but can see why other might prefer it the other way. Perhaps a button so people can choose would be a nice idea.

Haha, what a crazy reason for uproar! No, I think Devi is quite right. It's the way every other board on the planet works. In fact when I first started posting here I triple posted once as I didn't realise a new page had been created and I just thought my post hadn't showed up. That's how ingrained jumping to the last post is for me.

Haha Yeti, everything caused uproar back in the day :)

See I've been on Sleuth so long now it's just automatic to click last page. I think back when Sleuth was so busy there was always a new thread and you could have missed pages and pages so it was easier to read through from the start.....if that makes any sense at all :)

Ben must have been delighted with all that feedback. :D

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your point, so please correct me if so, but the idea is when you first click a thread it should still open it at the first page. It's only after posting a reply that the the thread should open on the last page rather than the first.

Haha, I'm pretty sure DW meant what Yeti said there at the end (the thread loading to show the last page and your post with it, right after you've posted something) and that the uproar resulted in Ben deciding that threads opened from the first page so you could read them in chronological order as opposed to opening a thread to find the latest post on top.

Yep Yep. When you post a reply, I want to see that reply, not the first page again. Oh, and since we're on the topic, how about numbered pages for the forum too? I hate going through them all. There should be a jumping feature aside from first/last/previous.

Also, no issues Helen, all ok.

I'd love an easier way to sell extra items from the locker room. Having to change and then go to the detective shop gets old hat.

I would love a faster way to see which factions are in which city. I don't have them memorized. Maybe on your detective page, the factions that are present in the city you are in could be in bold. This would obviously change depending on what city you are in.

Or maybe even the cities listed behind the factions on your detective page.

^ In regards of that - if you go to City Hall, Hall of Records and then click Political Factions, you can check out every faction. The first line listed in each document is where the factions are located :)
