I've started work on the next update for Sleuth, and as promised it's going to be a content update. However, it's going to take a while before any of you see it, at least two months, potentially far longer than that.

Now I would hate to leave you all in the Sleuth wilderness, totally devoid of changes, so every one to two weeks I'll create an update from the suggestions you give here. An example of a small update (from the desk of Bela Talbot III) would be including your most recent fortune telling in the case file so long as you haven't discovered any new suspects since then.

Whilst this is going on I'll also fix up the small bugs lying around the game. For example, there's a certain accessory devouring fox that needs reining in, and possibly relocating. So don't worry about suggesting bug fixes here. Keep it to small things you'd like to see, or small annoyances you'd like changed.

Never had any trouble with the law. In Sleuth that is.

I am new to the game and I am not exactly sure if what I suggest is correct or not..I have completed 3 VH's now. Could a detective receive a new title for completing his/her first VH?

Hi Murray Arty, I love your name, I've noticed it before on the player list. :)

The first achievement for quantity of villain hunts kicks in after ten captures.

You might be able to unlock a new title for completing your first VH that takes a different route. If you have it, it'll show up under the title in list of titles; if you don't...well, that's no good.

How about a colored square around the townie boxes that correspond to the contacts we have in each city? I always have to check for them.

Also, when checking with suspects if they suspect x or y maybe have the name of the suspects in red if the've lied, white, green.

Would it be possible to have a shady contact in Cairo, maybe cheap or cheaper than the one in Delhi. Detectives that made it to Cairo have perhaps earned it.

I like the Cairo shady idea Murray. I don't spend much time there, but I agree. If you've put forth the effort and time to unlock Cairo, you shouldn't have to travel (spending more money but also spending cases) if you need to hear to the back of the bar.

I also like the idea of contacts being indicated. I travel a lot. I also play on several detectives at times. It's hard and frustrating trying, and failing, to keep contacts straight.

I think my biggest irritation is the inbox though. It's very hard to tell which messages are new. At least it is in mobile which I'm restricted to atm.

Did you know, I didn't even realise Shady wasn't in Cairo :s

Go look at your Detective page to see your contacts you lazy sod :p

I would love a new mail system that didn't involve me clicking on the hundreds of pages I have, and I've had a clean-up recently too :s I'd just be happy to be able to search / sort by sender or recipient.

The search thing is something I know a lot of people would love to have for their mailbox.

And I do go to the detective page (who you calling a lazy sod btw? I know you don't mean me or devilish, considering we're currently numbers 1 and 3 on the weekly high scores board, respectively. :p ).

But when you're in a hunt (I know, you don't do them) time and speed are important. That extra 2 to 3 seconds to look at the contacts can mean losing a hunt, if it's a really close hunt.

It's not needed. NONE of this is needed. This a place to put things we'd LIKE TO see implemented, isn't it? I don't think devilish or I NEED a colored box to indicate contacts, nor do I think we are saying we do. We're saying it would be nice to have.

I have wanted the mailbox search thing ever since I first read about it, and I didn't even have mail then! :D But maybe in doing that and opening up mailboxes to the google search engine (okay, disclaimer: I'm not very sure what I'm talking about...ask that lazy sod Yeti. About the search engine thing. Not about me not being very sure what I'm talking about - you already know what the answer's going to be), we'd be compromising on privacy (?).
