Can we transfer a subscription of a retired detective to an already existing detective or is it necessary to create a new one?

Also, if I rent a building for agency HQ, can I change the building later?

I thought of resubscribing and I've sort of forgotten some ways of the game so thanks to those who can help with this. :)

Thank you Yeti Face :)

Well I don't have a retired subscribed detective right now, one of my other detectives had around $150000 and I wanted to keep this one going and get that money (I mean using money transfer in an agency), retire her, transfer the subscription to another already existing detective whose password I remembered only yesterday and take the equipment, retire her and finally transfer the subscription to a new detective that I want to create.

So since I don't have a retired subbed detective, I can't go any further on that page, I did try.

Thanks again! :)

So if transferring subscription to an already existing detective isn't possible I'll have to choose between the money and equipment!

Ah, I believe I understand what you're after. Well, I've looked further into the transfer subscription link I sent you earlier and unfortunately it only seems to transfer the subscription to a detective that you create there and then, after having "cashed in" the retired detective as it were.

I suspect you'll need to make that choice between money and equipment, but perhaps it's worth messaging Secret Squirrel first to confirm that? He may be able to work some magic for you behind the scenes.

Sorry I couldn't have been more help.

No that's fine, I guess I just need to decide between the money and equipment. :)

One detective has a total of (money Incredibly hard favours equipment worth) $150000.

The other has very less money ($8500) but gear worth $106600 including two AVH rewards , that's a total of $115100, which is less than the previous one.

Can't seem to decide because though the money is more in sleuth1, sleuth2 has two AVH items.

What do you think is better?

Personally I'd go for the AVH items. Once incredibly hard favours are unlocked your new detective will be earning over $20k a day, so it'll take you two days to make up the difference. In contrast, you won't be able to catch two villains in that time.

So I've made up my mind now. Thanks once again :)

No problem. You've probably already considered this, but just in case - you'll need to have a second detective, or someone else who can invite your new detective, in the agency you create to transfer these items. Else you'll have those lovely AVH items in the agency, and be completely locked out.

Just retire one after you've invited the new det in; as for everything else, Yeti's got you covered :) Oh, and once you have the powered-up equipment, it'll be much easier doing cases, and you'll build up the money if you do lower-level cases where you don't have to spend as much on bribes.

As I'm come to understand it, one can not transfer a subscription to an already existing detective. You have to transfer it to a new detective you create there and then on the spot. So the new detective would then be locked out of the agency - though perhaps it would be possible to un-retire the old detective after the subscription transfer and then use them to send an invite to the new subbed one.

No, scratch that, it looks like retired detectives are removed from their agency. So there will need to be a second agency member for the transfer to go ahead.
