After a period of absence, THE RESISTANCE has returned to the Sleuth boards with a healthy Yeti-flavoured taste.

For those unfamiliar, The Resistance is a social game of limited information. Players are split into two teams, one team being true members of the resistance, and the other being spies who have infiltrated the group. Over a course of five missions, resistance members aim to have three missions succeed, whereas spies aim to sabotage three of them. The only way for players to communicate with each other will be through this thread.

I'll post a detailed set of rules once the sign up process is over, but to give you an idea of how the game goes the first The Resistance thread on the Sleuth boards is here: http://noir.playsleuth.com/map/cityhall/post.spy?id=34582&first_record=302111

We'll need five to ten players in order to start the game. I'd like to keep this game flowing, so before putting your name down please make sure that to the best of your knowledge you'll be able to log in at least once a day for the next two weeks. You will not receive financial payment for playing THE RESISTANCE.

I'm being skipped too, unfortunately. Seeing as how we have our A-team lined up, I can't see why I wouldn't support this mission. I vote YES.

Soheir lit up yet another cigarette (she'd ran out of her 'supply' waiting for everyone to make up their minds), maintaining her obnoxious smirk. She'd been quiet for a while now, but no one had seemed to notice - which worked for her because regardless of her demeanor, she'd been quiet because she hadn't a clue who the spies were.

She'd submitted her vote, and was patiently awaiting the results. The only thing she knew for sure was that regardless of the outcome of the next mission, she was going to find it hilarious.

It did, however, occur to her as she suppressed a laughing fit that perhaps she'd smoked too much over the last few hours. She looked over to Devi who was pacing back and forth and secretly wished she could borrow her dark eye glasses.

Mission Five Result:

Faced with the evidence you collected, Sal "The Clown" Iva and Mac "Demon Face" Kerrell confessed to their crimes. With the infiltrators safely locked away, the Resistance was able to work on capturing Jezebel "Diamondback" Jaeger, the last piece in the UVE Villainic puzzle.

After a few cases in Delhi the Resistance discovered that Diamondback was holed up with the Holy Man, something that in retrospect they perhaps should have noticed; given the Holy Man spends his time sat on the street Jezebel was sat right behind him.

Naturally she tried to run, but all four members of The Resistance approached her at once, blocking every exit. 'I don't know the exact location of the UVE Villainic,' she declared in custody, 'but I do know that it is NOT in the Mediterranean Sea'.

'Well that settles it then', Devi said.
'Absolutely - we should tell the Prince's men that The UVE Villainic can be found in the Baltic Sea - just off the coast of Gotland', stated Turtledove, 'these NOT clues are fantastic.'
