See if there is interest for this.

1. Each day I will post 10 questions, at random times of the day.
2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.
5. No cash involved. Just glory. :)

Probably go without saying that Greyling is the winner. Yes, yes, I know she didn't enter, but she'll find a way...

Ok enough of my tomfoolery.

Cynderbear got them all right. But since she covered herself nicely from having to do the next quiz, the winner is...

Biggie with 11. Followed by Rosa with 10.

Notes:

M. = Edward VIII of England who abdicated the English throne to marry Wallis Simspon an American divorcee. The only Brittish monarch to ever let go of the reins 'voluntarily'. And one of the shortest reigns too. Only beaten in it's brevity by Lady Jane Grey and Edward V.

OK so apparently he wasn't much of a king, and he was possibly a fascist, but not every man gives up a crown and country for love. So he can't have been all that bad. (lol and that's about as soft as I get.)

1. E. = George Burns and Gracie Allen who were both iconic US comedians in the 30-50's. George Burns continued to be popular up until his death in 1996. He was 100.

Ever seen 'Oh God' with John Denver, George was God.

Oh, yes - I'll get you my pretty...and your little dog/cat/monkey/whatever too, because of course I won, there's no doubt in my nearly sane mind that I did. I mean I did PM you all the correct answers just the other day. It's a conspiracy, that's what it is, a conspiracy!! Now where did I put that banner with the thing about the judge?? ;p

ok here's my pretty boring and probably fairly easy Halloween quiz!

1. Every Halloween, Charlie Brown helps his friend Linus wait for what character to appear?

2. What do folk traditionally "bob" for at Halloween parties?

3. Which country celebrates "The Day of the Dead" instead of Halloween?

4. Pumpkins grow on...

5. What are male witches called?

6. What is the name of the serial killer in the film "Halloween"?

7. Halloween is celebrated on the eve of what Christian holiday?

8. Halloween originated from a festival celebrated by what ancient European tribe?

9. What "phobia" do you suffer from if you have an intense fear of Halloween?

10. In Scotland, what vegetable was traditionally carved into a jack-o-lantern?

BONUS: 1. What was Crunchpatty for Halloween this year?
2. Who was a pile of leaves for Halloween?
3. Why can't male witches have babies (such a loser joke but my dad used to crack me up with it when I was a kid, much to my mother's annoyance)

Good luck :)
