See if there is interest for this.

1. Each day I will post 10 questions, at random times of the day.
2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.
5. No cash involved. Just glory. :)

nearly forgot to have a crack at the quiz before I toddled off to bed...

1. late 1600's, so that's the 17th century
2. Arthur Miller Crucible
3. ? Haven't seen it... will have to now.
4. Eastwick
5. East
6. White
7. Snow White
8. Is this a trick question? Middle ages is about what 5th to 16th century? They really didn't start persecution of witches til late 1500's... OK I think I'm just confusing myself. I'm gonna shut up and say burning.
9. Blair Witch Project
10. Hogwarts
Bonus is a definite "no idea", and I too have gone and had a look and say lol, would never have gotten that!

I tried to post the answers earlier, but the server was down. No wonder, with all these witches! Here they are:

1. 17th century (1692)
2. Arthur Miller
3. Daniel Day-Lewis
4. Eastwick
5. The Wicked Witch of the East
6. White
7. Snow White
8. Burning at the stake
9. The Blair Witch Project
10.Hogwarts

Bonus: John Hale

The winner is LED with impressive 11/11 .

The burning of witches started in the early 13th century, wich is Middle Ages by all definitions, but reached its peak in the second half of 16th century. In my country the last witch was burnt in the second half of the 18th century, and in England in the early 19th century.

Sorry, all the questions were answered correctly and there seemed to be no reason to prolong it. I think that the record was 3 quizes in one day.
But the original rules say that each quiz runs 24 hours, and we'll return to them.

Lol, well, i'm not complaining, the first post said rule "3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins." so it does make sense to quit after the first one with all correct answers. cause if it goes longer, ppl would just copy the right person.

rosamund, i see your logic now. i wouldn't mind then, if i knew there would be another quiz that day. but if there is only 1 quiz a day and it is during the period i am sleeping, then i would be sad!

also, copying is not very cool, and besides, how would they know who had the right answers? if they are copying, they obviously don't know the answers themselves. unless the quiz-maker told the correct answers, but then the quiz is over so it is pointless.

ok, LED or someone, please post the new quiz before i go to sleep : )
