See if there is interest for this.

1. Each day I will post 10 questions, at random times of the day.
2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.

1. All flags mentioned were correct except China.
https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/docs/flagsoftheworld.html

2. Obsequious: bootlicking: attempting to win favor from influential people by flattery, ass kissing, ect.

3. Also known in English as The Treaty of Waitangi it was indeed signed in 1840.

4. 13- It's widely believed that this phrase originated from the practice of medieval English bakers giving an extra loaf when selling a dozen in order to avoid being penalized for selling short weight.

5. Million Dollar Baby

6. What NZers call togs. Bathing Suits/Swim Suits ect.

7. Yep, 7 and it was complete accident that I asked that as number 7 too, I thought it was quite funny too.

8. Sweden.

9. Heh, Australia's head of State is Old Lizzy who is actually represented by their Governor General whom I believe is Michael Jeffery. The "day to day" stuff though is up to their lovely, very tolerant and un-xenophobic Prime Minister, John Howard. Great guy and Bush lover that he is.
Although, SS's point about Eddie can't be dismissed...

10. Happy Days by Samuel Beckett.

And the Winner is Carrie Mehome although Ben gets points for knowing that Texas isn't really a country :D *wonders if she is being obsequious*
