Just played this today. Most of the evidence points to one character. He has no alibi, he is slim (the footprints were made by a slim man), yet apparently the culprit was a heavy set man? That makes no sense! You cannot pretend to be lightweight easily when you are, in fact, heavy.
Seems to be an error to me.
