My proposition is to post a line from a movie, one you think most people would know. (not too obscure)

The goal is to name the movie. You can add who said it, the character or the actor or both if you want.

I'll start with an easy one to get this going.

"My father made him an offer he couldn't refuse."

Is it "Dangerous Liaisons"? I can't believe I didn't recognize it at first sight, it's one of my favourite movies.

Bravo Leddie, you got it right on the first try :)

Yes, it's William Wallace (Mel Gibson) in "Braveheart".

You will all know *the* famous quote from this film I think but what about lesser known ones?

''I eat breakfast 300 yards from 4000 Cubans who are trained to kill me, so don't think for one second that you can come down here, flash a badge, and make me nervous.''

I have no idea where it comes from, so I'll start with usual questions. Is the film American? Filmed before or after 2000? Before or after 1950?

American.
After 1950, before 2000.

Here's another quote:

''Is the colonel's underwear a matter of national security?''
