No, it's not named for an English county, as far as I know. And yes, the last clue was taken from wikipedia. I'm hoping that's what you meant, Lady Ruby?? ;-)

Baffin Island is in Nunavut territory, Canada. It's the fourth largest island in the world. And yes, they have to import penguins and pointsettias for Christmas, along with most other supplies. ;-)

Funny the clues that work and the clues that don't. For some reason the 'Baffled' clue led me straight there, even though before that I couldn't remember Baffin Island existed! :)
