This is a variation on a theme of Francesca's "Who am I?" thread. The rules are the same, only in this case it would probably be best if we asked one question at a time :).
I'll start:
Its history goes back more than one thousand years.

Yeah, fictionally, it is somewhere, somehow, on Earth...where else would you get such fantastic furniture?!

How to pin down an unreal place? Hmmmmmmm?
Ok, while I think on that question, a couple of off-the-cuff guesses.
Is it Shangri-La?
Is it Xanadu?

Why do I get the feeling you're talking about Narnia, Bela??
And are you looking for a city, or just the state or country of this unreal place??

You got it, Breit!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay! There's a one-post win for y'all to gawk at!
Maybe because of the armoire-furniture hints...or did nobody actually get it? Oh well. Your turn, Breit!

There's only one place I know of that's unreal and associated with furniture. Voila. ;-D
Thank you, Bela. ;-)
Okay, on with the questions. ;-D
Your starting hint: Think spring. ;-)

No, it's not in the U. S., and it's not Colorado Springs. Sorry.
I should probably explain my response to Peter's question a bit better. Is it a common spring break destination?? Prob'ly not, no. But yes, I have been there on my spring break in the past. So do with that what you will. ;-)
