This is a variation on a theme of Francesca's "Who am I?" thread. The rules are the same, only in this case it would probably be best if we asked one question at a time :).

Wow!! For somebody who doesn't know a lot about American geography, you sure made some good guesses!! ;-D Unfortunately, this place is not in the desert, near the coast, or in Nevada. But you did very well with those!! Keep trying, Bela. You're doing just fine. (A small hint: try narrowing it down by regions (West, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, etc.). That might make things a bit easier to start with. ;-)

Nah, I knew Nevada only from Las Vegas, and even that took a lot of thinking, and deserts gotta be hot while desserts gotta be cool, right? :P I'm still all-round terrible in Geography(, mostly 'cause it's pretty arbitrary that that place is that place. Why's are not tolerated. And I'm always a why kinda girl, horrible at remembering things that are "just 'coz" :P

Ah, Bela. You caught me a mental lapse. I somehow got off track and on an earlier quest.

As to this quest and hot cities, how about a shot in the dark - Hot Springs, Arkansas.
