Yesterday I started an AI for my VH. I opened a case, the screen went white for a split second, my case disappeared and I ended up with a FA. No, I did not report it because admin always assumes that FAs are the result of personal mistakes and they don’t bother to follow up, so I won’t waste my time.

Today I’m still on my VH. Since the Barber in Delhi had a book I needed to pick up I visited him and to my surprise my Nemesis hunt task was updated. I was supposed to go see the Waiter in London and give him a Fine Leather Briefcase. Not only did I not visit the Waiter in London but I also lost my Dagger of Horus in the process.

Has anyone else been experiencing bugs lately?

That's possible, yes, Sophie. But Vampirion's been around too long (and VS trains his people well enough) that he should know about using the Fortune Teller by now. If all the evidence is pointing to real alibis (i.e.--nothing's coming up false), something's either missing, someone's missing, or there's something wrong.

Vampirion's got the experience to have basic thread and hair analysis, let alone experienced. (Besides which, if he'd run into this before he wouldn't be bringing it up now.) So that's not it.

$20 from the Fortune Teller would've told him that he had all 9 or 10 suspects (and like I said, VS trains his people too well for them to NOT use this). So that ain't it.

He didn't get a Spyce error this time, apparently, so the system didn't go completely berserk. So that ain't it.

My guess (for what it's worth), Vampirion, is you ran across an incredibly rare, bad-egg of a case (and yes, there are a few of them out there). Out of the tens of thousands (or more) of cases that we have, there are a handful (probably no more than a dozen) that have something wrong with them. I ran into one last night. (All cases are supposed to have suspects with unique first names. I had a case with two suspects, both with a first/Christian name of "Ruth". If I hadn't been paying attention, I could have falsed VERY easily. It's why every random mystery is s'pposed to ALWAYS have only one person with one particular first name)

Any chance you sent a Bug Report to Admin, or remember the Case Name, suspect list (full list of all suspects), took one of those pics of the screen at some point, or something like that, Vampirion??

And Sophie, I'm not trying to downplay or criticize you. I simply think there's more to this than meets the eye. And I think it's worth looking into.

Added another bug to the bug thread in the game announcements. Same issue as before with the equipment locker.

OK, I hate quick fixes, but... PM me with whatever missing equipment the locker ghost has eaten.

I'll just refund it.

Perhaps if you have an alt. in your Agency you're not using or who can afford to have an open slot, ask me to send the item to that. Don't bug report it just send me a PM.

But yes I need to be able to push it into an open hand or bare foot, or err empty head...

Oh squirrely.... I deliverred package to the priest in NY from the postal clerk in delhi and it took my Raven and updated my nemesis hunt eventhough that wasnt my nemesis hunt.

My actual nemesis hunt is to deliver leopard banded fedora to somoene in London, which is still on my task list, but it also says to go back to the priest and get my next clue, which I cant do because I havent delivered the fedora.

Are you able to fix the nemesis stuff or should I forward this on to Sunny?? And can you get my raven back please??
