Amazing how long I seem to be able to play this game without noticing stuff.

I just did a favour case where the client was guilty. I have pickpocketing. Afterwards my cash had gone up from $126000 and a bit to $127000 and a bit. Not sure of the exact reward received, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting.

Has it always been like that? And if so, is it deliberate or just a bit of a glitch?

I said that?? Since when?? :-.

PICKPOCKETING works by paying the client's fee DIRECTLY to the detective, not the Agency, however much it is. No pickpocketing, no money if you have a guilty client.

TREASURE HUNTS pay their prize money directly to the Agency's safe, not any one detective. That may be where Luc's confusion lies.

LOCKPICKING involves absolutely no money whatsoever. It simply gives you either a motive or alibi question for up to two suspects per case, free of charge, as long as you have the skill. No lockpicking, no free questions. And no, you DO NOT get to choose which questions get answered. The server automatically chooses for you.

Hope all that clears up the confusion, at least for some people. ;-)

B.
