Hi all! The people up in Alaska sent us a very nice gift for this time of year, a cold snap. So while i'm dressed to the nines in my mittens and parka, my question to you all is:
What's your favorite thing to do when it gets cold, either indoors or out? Thanks all! (yes, i'm really having a hard time cutting myself off from the writing contest. shoot me.) ;0) L

i've been told that the arab version of heaven is a cool grotto or cave underground. for them hell is up where it's hot and windy (i.e. the western heaven in the clouds). so maybe we should send you up in the sky for a while to dry out... just a small joke, please don't eat me! ;0) L

my favorite things to do in winter are to walk around the redwoods all bundled up. they are amazing any time of year, but somehow the mist among their crowns is absolutely enchanting to me. but if i'm not feeling well, like now, i like to fall asleep in the sunshine with a kitty on my feet. preferably one that's well tortured. ;0D L

ok, so we've heard what you all like to do. given that there's a wonderful blizzard drowning half the east coast, we want to know what you DON'T like to do in the middle of a cold winter? ;0) have fun with that one. and complain as much as you like; we here in sunny California deeply sympathize. truly. L
