Hi there!

Some of you might remember, i used to be active back then.
I'm thinking of returning, but with a fresh new detective..

Was it possible to transfer stuff or money from old detective to the new one? If not it's alright. Am i supposed to pm an admin for this?

I'm thinking to create a very smart one, but i'm not too sure of the skills..
Ant advices?

You can if both detectives are subscribed.

To transfer equipment you need to be in the same agency. While we have a new money transfer function, it charges 10% of the transaction. Far cheaper to do it inside an agency (free).

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like it'll have to be with 10% charge then.

Who was the admin? You know, for deleting this old detective when ready?

You can't actually delete the detective, Holmes. You can however, retire the detective once you transfer everything over to new detective.

Ah, i see... well, have to put to retirement (without 'false accusation? if that's how you spell it?) then and forget about, but.. as for the transfer, i'm not sure if i want to join and leave an agency, just to transfer the stuff...

PS: Was there suggestions for 'smart and charming' archetype?

Well you don't have to transfer everything to your new detective, you could start completely fresh if you wanted to. The option is there though :)

Not trying to make decisions for you, but you might want to consider choosing the "make your own" character, or whatever it's called, when it comes time to make up a new guy. That way, you can go with a hybrid character, so to speak. You get to choose the charactheristics of the person (smart, tough, charming, or a choice of any 2 of the three ;-), and which skills you want to start out with (I believe you get 20 skill points at the beginning of making up a detective; what skills you want are listed by description and point value--you just read and click. ;-). That way, your detective is truly what you want him/her to be.

As to any equipment you might want the new guy to have, I think the only way to do that is to have both characters in the same Agency, and transfer the stuff between the two. (Having never used the Bank Transfer thing, I don't know if it does equipment transfers as well as cash. Anyone confirm that for us, please?? ;-)

Hope that all makes sense?? Good luck with the new detective!! ;-D
