Halfway through my last case, I got this message. It's a new one for me. Anyone else get this before?

"As I made my way back into the city, I happened to spot the local postman, Arnold, walking his route on the other side of the street.

I crossed to say "hello" and ask if he had anything for me. Good natured, as always, he returned my greeting and said, "As a matter of fact, a young girl just handed me a letter addressed to you, a few minutes ago. It didn't have a return address, but I told her I'd make sure you got it anyway."

I thanked him and he handed me the letter. When I opened it up, a chill ran down my spine. The envelope contained a single piece of paper, to which was pasted a message, assembled from newspaper print:
WatcH YouR STeP

After which, written in what appeared to be human blood, was a single word:
Aleks"

I'm still the only one ever to be mentioned when you solve a crime: "A secret government operative known only as The Kitten..." :D

I like that Cut Scene too, because you can see your name in red at the bottom. Pretty cool...

I've played and replayed all of Nancy Drew games, & I've searched the internet for over a year for a place to solve mysteries,& recently when I found Slueth, I became addicted to solving these crimes. Fun Fun...thanks to all involved in bringing "Slueth" to us all.

in the cut scene where it says, "WatcH YouR STeP", and then at the end, it says that in blood was in one word, what i your name is two words, or like wayne's, three

I guess your all wondering what my playing "Nancy Drew" games has to do with the message "WatcH YouR SteP", well actually nothing. Sorry about that. I will say when I first got this message, I thought it was cool. Certaintly made the game more exciting. How about the person that keeps shooting at your head! I'm thankful they're a bad shot, but I don't know how much more my shin can take....ha!

yeah i got that once it really freaked me out and i almost quit the case

*lol* - the one that really freaked me out was the first time I got one where it said I was falling in love with my client - I was so scared that I'd get a fine or be suspended for a couple of days on account of having acted unprofessionally :D
