Mob history is to be made tonight, and you are along for the ride.

Sonny Capellini, The La Cosa Nostra boss of the Brooklyn area and a few of his closest compatriots were found dead in his home two nights ago, victims of blasts from sawed-off shotguns. Fuggheddaboudit. Theories suspect rival Emil "The Butcher" Bocelli, a higher-up with no small means at his disposal. Emil wanted to assume his place as the top man in the Brooklyn outfit.

However, the Santanelli's have cracked open the books and are hesitant to appoint the wild-card Bocelli, for fear they might have trouble from him later on down the line. They favor Jimmy "Legs" Tarabotti, a well-respected mobster who has no beef against the Santanelli's. However, La Cosa Nostra isn't about to lose more manpower over this.

Jimmy "Legs" Tarabotti has been sent for, and if he makes it to the meeting in a warehouse on 34th tonight at midnight, he will assume the mantle of the entire Brooklyn outfit. If he doesn't make it, the outfit goes to Bocelli.

You are a close-knit crew of Tarabotti's supporters, but word on the street is that Bocelli bribed a few of his men to the other side. Its possible, with their sabotage, that Tarabotti will be dead far before midnight. Only the final strike of the clock will tell.
Can you keep Legs Tarabotti alive until he becomes the most untouchable man in New York? Find out in this game of...The Resistance!

In advance I wish to vote YES so you know.
It doesn't much matter to me.
I just want some progress
And you won't get much progress,
No sir, no you won't,
Just waiting around to see...

My mission team is

Biggie
Marc
Ms Helen
Cekuray

I'll explain my reasoning more in depth when I'm not on my phone, but basically I don't know which of nic or riza is a spy, and SS and Danny voting yes (even though Danny changed it) makes me think they wanted the mission to pass with a spy on it.

OK Squirrel. I am going to give you the same lecture I have given others.

The point of the game is to win three missions (yes I know you know that). If this next mission fails, there are only three more missions left which means the Resistance has to be flawless or they will lose the game. Which means, if you are Resistance you aren't randomly going to just vote Yes to everything to make the game progress if making the game progress means losing.

The first mission had me, biggie, and Riza on it. At least one of the three of us is a spy. So if you are Resistance, having no information, and are looking at a mission proposal with two of the three people that were on a mission with a spy... there's a good chance that one of the two is a spy. So why would you vote yes? The only logical reason for that is you are a spy and you know a spy is on that mission.

If you are not a spy, then doing things that are suspicious, such as the above action, is going to make the rest of your Resistance team think you are a spy, which will almost guarantee a loss for the Resistance and you are therefore hurting your teammates.

However, it seems that most of the time when people do something suspicious, it's because they are.

This just pretty much confirms my suspicions about everything and who the spies are. Pretty sure I'm right, however I will wait before I announce it publicly.

I'm interested in biggie's reasoning because from my perspective there 100% for certain a spy on that team so a BIG FAT NO is my vote. That is not based on my guess, that is a FACT.

Because either biggie or Riza is a spy. And if Riza is a spy, so is Ms Helen. So sitting in my shoes, and I know I am Resistance, there is undoubtedly a spy on that team.

Just to add.... substitute Ms Helen and Riza because if Riza is a spy, so is Ms Helen and this team has two of the three people that were on the first mission that failed. Even if you don't believe I'm Resistance, the odds are not in the Resistance's favor on such a proposal.

I'm doing it again....

Please ma'am no ma'am, I don't know ma'am
all your if's and but's and so's ma'am,
all your I'll just add a this and that ma'am.

If nicnic took a bottle of the captain in the middle
of a cogitative state about the game
would her words be any clearer, and would we be any nearer,
to putting any spies within the frame?

This game is quite absurd if only one or two are heard,
and it's popularity will surely sink.
Is the only way to play, the way you say to play?
... Do I wait until you tell me what to think?

So I'll keep voting YES, if now only to distress
the people who won't let us act alone.
And we might fin'ly get somewhere, when one or two are more prepared,
To play the game uniquely, not as clones.

This sounds eerily similar to Molly's "I don't play linear and I think outside the box and twirl a lot" spy strategy from game 1. LMAO

As I said before, you are not playing alone - you are on a team. And if you do strange things, you are not helping your team.

Since the Olympics are on, let's use an analogy. It's the men's 4x200 relay race and you are the anchor. But since you apparently don't like to do the status quo and play by the rules or do what your teammates would expect of you, when it's your turn to enter the race and your teammate is ahead by two body lengths, instead of swimming your best in your lane and winning the race, you decide to swim sideways across the pool because ain't no one gonna tell you what to do.... You and the three other people will lose. And I can assure you you will have 3 extremely pissed off teammates.

No worries Squirrelly. I know what's up ;-)

She struggles bravely
to throw suspicion his way.
But she's not a spy...

Nic your theories are sound as always. Except if you're a spy, in which case your theories are a way to throw suspicion off yourself.

I admit that without the use of nic's infamous spreadsheet, I missed the ms Helen/ riza connection. However, my feeling is that nic is the spy from the first mission.
