It is rumored that the ornate palace gates of Shangri-La have finally been opened to the public for the first time in known history. The Prince is making his debut into the public eye with a brilliant gala hosted by the Prince himself: an exclusive invitation-only event attended only by the most prominent and affluent people from countries all over the world.

Some commoners have been invited to this rare event--but not as guests. The Prince's most trusted advisor has particularly collected special operatives to patrol the event: the world's brightest, swiftest, and most skilled. You will be entrusted with making sure that everything goes off without a hitch. But there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames, along with the Prince himself.

Five minutes before the event is scheduled to start, a report of a most alarming nature reaches the operatives' ears. There has been a breach in the ranks. Some spies have infiltrated the group! But since they have never seen each other's faces, there is no way to tell whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.

The operatives' job this evening is to make sure the Prince's gala goes off without a hitch. If he is pleased at the end of the night, they will be rewarded handsomely. Sources say he is forgiving of small mishaps, but when pushed too far...

The Prince's reputation is at stake. Will his gala be a phenomenal success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

I think that we're in for a surprise, I just can't believe that this is that easy, all those votes looks really strange, especially because the team that Serges proposed had Vulkie in it, who in turn cleared Adam, who in turn... it's really confusing, and it's a shame the only way we have to trust everyone is because of those votes, and even then..., I think i have an idea about the next distribution of powers, and I hope I'm wrong.

If I presume what you are suggesting Andrew, it's gonna be the following:

Adam - keeps No Confidence (too powerful to give away)
Keeping a close eye on you - either Molly / Nicnic
Opinion Maker - either Molly / Nicnic

This is my presumption of how it'll be distributed... Can be deadly wrong, but seeing as the last team succeeded without a problem (well, "without" :p), it'll be the same and the powers'll be kept between these 3 people

Guys, as fun as conspiracy theories are, if there was a spy on that team, they would have sabotaged. It being 2-0 puts the spies at too lethal a disadvantage. Any self-respecting spy would rather give themselves up than hand such a lead to the Resistance. Resistance needs one more to win. Spies need 2 to even present a threat, 3 to win.

Our team is Resistance. If we were harboring a spy, they'd have to be either really stupid or really selfish, and the other spies would be trying to get them off the team, lol.

Also considering mission 4 needs TWO SPIES to Sabotage and Id be voting down any mission with Jay or andi on it, this is in the bag, i really believe it is, Adam should keep no confidence and do whatever he wants with the other powers, propose the same team and we win. :D

I think we can make this one 3-0 without too much difficulty!

I'm going to keep NO CONFIDENCE, as I am not 100% sure the people on my team are resistance (paranoia never goes away really!)

I'll give KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON YOU to Jason, purely because Molly got a card in the last round.

OPINION MAKER is the one I'm struggling with. I think it is best to give it to someone who I *think* is resistance, to see how they'll choose to vote. Any actual resistance member should pretty much be toasting a victory already, but if even one member votes no, the spies can all vote no and sabotage the proposal. On that basis, I think it has to go to the most outspoken member so far, Biggie.

As for my team, it will remain unchanged from the team who have just won mission 2.

This one is in the bag.

For some reason I have the weirdest feeling that if anyone from the team of 4 turned out to be a spy, it would be Adam?
Like some evil genius mastermind.

Highly improbable but I think if anyone pulled a swoop it would totally be him. :P

R-E-S-I-S-T-A-N-C-E! Go team go! We're so close!

Adam Carter has chosen to keep NO CONFIDENCE for himself.

Adam has chosen to give his KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON YOU ability to Jason Arends.

Adam has chosen to give his OPINION MAKER ability to Biggie. For the rest of the game, Biggie must post her vote whether to approve or reject a mission on the message board before the voting results are revealed.

***

Mission 3, Team 1
Team Leader: Adam Carter
Team Proposal: Adam Carter, Molly Maltese, nicnic, Jason Arends

It is now time for the rest of the team to vote to either approve or reject this mission proposal.

When you do vote, please send me a PM stating "Mission 3, Team 1: YES or NO."

Feel free to discuss.
