It is rumored that the ornate palace gates of Shangri-La have finally been opened to the public for the first time in known history. The Prince is making his debut into the public eye with a brilliant gala hosted by the Prince himself: an exclusive invitation-only event attended only by the most prominent and affluent people from countries all over the world.

Some commoners have been invited to this rare event--but not as guests. The Prince's most trusted advisor has particularly collected special operatives to patrol the event: the world's brightest, swiftest, and most skilled. You will be entrusted with making sure that everything goes off without a hitch. But there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames, along with the Prince himself.

Five minutes before the event is scheduled to start, a report of a most alarming nature reaches the operatives' ears. There has been a breach in the ranks. Some spies have infiltrated the group! But since they have never seen each other's faces, there is no way to tell whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.

The operatives' job this evening is to make sure the Prince's gala goes off without a hitch. If he is pleased at the end of the night, they will be rewarded handsomely. Sources say he is forgiving of small mishaps, but when pushed too far...

The Prince's reputation is at stake. Will his gala be a phenomenal success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

I am going to say this right now.. I had a bad feeling about this mission. And everything vulkie just posted confirms every suspicion I had. I'm assuming Adam already submitted his action. And if this mission fails, it's totally a set up to take me out of the game. Calling it now.

Jason - openly said succeed (if he lies, it'll be outed) - Molly, had to post her Succeed on the board - Adam, resistance, always has to post Succeed -> who leaves that after these 3 people? Derp... (just saying) - and nothing bad meant Nic, but that was just my reasoning at the time being. Molly posted her succeed, Jason posted his succeed (openly and willfully, if there's one sabotage, I'd rather suspect him then you) and Adam is resistance (which I know 100.0000000000% sure). So it's between you / Jason basically, and if I'm honest, I'd rather suspect him then you.

But it's nothing personal... it's just the game ^_^

I am fully aware it's just a game, Vulkie. But thanks for reminding me.

Jason didn't post his action. He PMed it to Riza. Just like Adam and I did. But here ya go.

I vote SUCCEED!

Now if the mission fails, who did it? lol

I learned my lesson the first game. If someone isn't making sense, it's not because they are innocent and cute and new to the game. It's because they are a spy and playing poorly as one. This is now the second time you are making no sense (the first time being when you said the resistance would lose with a "muahahahahaha" after it). Not buying it. If you are Resistance, you need to step up your game, start making sense, and help your team win.

If I am Resistance (which I am and which you / adam seem to doubt still, god I wish that mission of mine would've gotten voted through), then you don't have to take everything I say so serious.

And besides, if you know it's a game, it's also about making a bit of fun. The winning element doesn't bother me so much, it's making fun that makes the game interesting.

Anyways, we shall see how the mission'll end up this time. And just keep making the same team, without me then if you think I'm a spy. Just saying, if you exclude me from it, you have to make a lucky guess for the other Resistance member

I know i voted to succeed, i know Molly was forced to post her vote publicly which was succeed. I trust Nic, im sure people will say that's stupid but if i have to chose one person in this game to trust, i trust its Nic. Mental disorders dont go away overnight and if shes still spread sheeting then this is a good sign.

Adam hasn't done/voted/said anything in anyway that makes me suspect him of being a spy. Then again maybe hes a REALLY good spy or hes definitely doing whats best for the resistance or im reallllllllly gullible.

So i personally have high hopes this mission will pass flawlessly. I could be DEAD wrong. But that's my feeling on it, the fact that Jay and Biggie were so opposed to it and the fact that they WEREN'T on it, i dont know the two seem to go hand in hand. Then again Ive only had a few hours sleep but ill be surprised if this mission fails, i really will.

I feel like this will be the scenario: If the mission passes 100% then everyone of us, Adam, Nic, Molly and Myself are proven resistance for all to see. Simply because the spies cannot afford to get 2 behind with as Nic stated mission 4 needing TWO sabotages, if there IS a spy on this mission they CANNOT afford to vote succeed to avoid suspicion, a smart spy would out themselves here on this mission at the cost of keeping the game tied. If the resistance gets a 2-0 lead it will make it one more mission to win and the resistance has this.

In my mind *if* this team mission pulls through then it clears all four of us- to me anyways. The spies simply cannot afford to let this get them 2-0. Plain and simple (even to ME OF ALL PEOPLE!).

It should also be noted that if this mission is successful people will have a hard time voting no against the same 4 people in the next round...

OK. So what I can gather from this, is Vulkie claims to be Resistance, but doesn't really care about winning the game she signed up for or helping her team do it. She just wants to have fun on the message boards because that is the important part of this game we are playing.

*huh*

My spydar is going off so loud, it's smoking. Vulkie, if people think you are a spy, it is because you are acting like one. Which as I said before.... if you are Resistance, you are not helping your team at all. You may not care about winning, but I assure you the five other people you are playing with most likely do. And I got tricked by this the first time we played (*cough* Molly's twirling) and I won't let it happen again :-P

"You are not helping your team at all"- When I made a team, it got immediately neglected by (at least) 2 resistance people, because of some old paranoia from Serges first choice of 3 random people. Now evidently, 2 of those people have been in all teams made for the missions, and when I was in it, it got turned down.

So about the helping part... I'm doing the best I can, but if you don't trust me, I can't do very much to go against it, now can I? If this mission gets through and Adam makes a brilliant team and the next mission goes through, the Resistance is at 0-3 and then you won't need my "help" anymore.

Haha. I like that label. Twirling. Like I was a demented fairy-princess ballerina.

What argument? This is pure logical braincracking (maybe a little whiff of paranoia added, but suffice, in the end, the Resistance shall be victorious once so more)
