If you'd like to celebrate the Fourth of July this week, you can make a stop at your friendly neighborhood Detective Shop and buy a once off Bald Eagle Lapel Pin. It's low level and purely for show. This item will be off the market 5 / 6 July.
I'll try to put up a unique high level favour item on 4 July. Unfortunately this will sneak into all cities, where ideally I'd like it to be just New York, but thems the breaks for now.

Fille?
Of course it was. Our flappers were wearing flannel.

The Bald Eagle Lapel Pin is very nice. I would have prefered it to be a +1, +1,+1 item with a cost of around 6500. This way the Pin could remain on detectives for a bit longer period. Now it is beautiful but actually not useful so maybe no detective will put it on during his/her work

I think it costs about the same as a start up item with a similar stat. It's more so that lots of start up detectives and everyone, not just the people with a katrillion XP, can have something. I consider the favour item to be more applicable to higher level players. Maybe I should put a higher level item in the shop too, or somewhere else. I'll think about it.
New items in the game is a bit novel and I don't want to flood the market, and make all the old items obsolete.
I appreciate the feedback, good or otherwise.
On a side note, what do people think about me upgrading the images of the old items. Some of the old start up items are really grainy and gritty, and I don't really think that's on purpose. However that might actually lend the game some of its charm. So it might turn out to be a bad thing. I don't know...

I think upgrading the images is a good idea, but that's just my 2 cents. Whatever you do SS- its appreciated.
