What do the experience points help you do in the game?

Yes, but nobody but Ben knows the exact formula. but when you just start, your first easy case gives you 20 experience points and you get 2 skill points. If you do an intermediate level favor its worth 40 experience and 4 skill points. but as you get more experience, it TAKES more experience points to earn each skill point. By the time you have over 100,000 experience points, you have to earn several thousand experience points to get your next skill point. If you want to earn skill points faster, do the hardest level cases you can succeed on - since they are worth more experience. Hope that made sense.

Also the more experience points you get, the harder cases you can open.

The skill point ratio is buried way back in the newbie board.It is 10 percent of your experience points to gain 1 skill point. On 1000 exp. points you earn 1 skill point at 100 exp.points earned until at 100,000 would be 1 skill point earned at 10,000 exp.earned and so on.

Lady Justice is right. The more experience points the harder it is to earn skill points. Yes, The ratio is 10% of experience points earn to earn 1 skill point.
